Will Brown Tuesday Be a Form of Black Friday for Liberal Health Care?
One man can bring partisan cooperation to Washington.
One man can open the closed doors of the House and Senate and force both sides to work together on health care.
Barry? Obammer? Nope.
Scott Brown.
Potentially the most amazingly important single political elections in your life will take place, Tuesday, January 19th. It is also my birthday, so I am hoping for a “present” from Scott Brown, when he wins over Democrat Martha Coakley. And if he can pull it off, as all polls are showing he really might be capable of doing, it will rock our political world in a manner that will make Haiti look like a moderate temblor.
There truly could be no more ironic and satisfying statement than to hear that Massachusetts, who seated Senator Ted Kennedy, often seen as the torch bearer for health care reform, would send such a strong message regarding health care reform. A resounding “NO!” from a State that sent Kennedy to the Senate since 1962, and is 3/1 democrat, would be absolutely amaaaazzzzing. And damn fulfilling. (Note: Interestingly, Kennedy was seated in 1962 in a special election, himself.)
Coakley said, regarding Obama’s visit to stump for her, that he was there because he knows she is going to win. That is about the funniest, most stupid and in denial damn thing I have heard in the last 20 years from a political candidate. Yeah. Barry is there to try to save you because you are a shoe in. Uh huh. A last minute visit by Barry is more like CPR than it is a victory lap. And considering how well he did with the Chicago Olympic bid, I welcome him to do alllll he can for her.
Watching comparisons between Fox and CNN and MSNBC this week, it is really pretty clear to me who does NOT want to focus on the Coakley/Brown race turning upside down in a matter of weeks, in Brown’s favor. CNN and MSNBC almost appear to be running from the story. They have justifiable “cover”, with Haiti. Man, that must have brought a sigh of relief from those at the heads of those two “news” agencies. “A disaster? Phew! I thought we might actually have to help Brown’s momentum by REPORTING it!”
Haiti is terrible. Just flat out terrible. But the coverage on CNN and MSNBC wreaks of opportunistic diversion, as I stated. And the left knows it. Health Care Reform, as THEY would propose it, hangs in the balance, with Brown and Coakley.
Did any of you ever wonder why the left was trying to rush this through, in the last few months? They knew the opportunity was going to be very short lived. Even they knew that if they could get what they wanted, they would likely pay a political price for it, party wide, in the next election. They did not and do not care about that when it comes to Health Care. It was a decades long struggle that has a very short window of opportunity. They knew, even under a filibuster proof Senate, and holding the House, that they could not expect it to last. They knew something could or would come up that would derail the process. Could be war. Could be some other crisis. Could be a meteor.
Could be Scott Brown.
No. These people know that expediency has nothing to do with doing what was “right”, or what America really “needs”. They knew, and know, it has everything to do with O P P O R T U N I T Y.
Opportunity is fickle. Clearly, they were not operating above the table, with open meetings, no special interest dealings or sweet deals for senators and their states. They were not meeting Obama’s promises for transparency and CSPAN open, televised debates. These asses had NO intent of “governing”, but rather wanted to dictate.
Brown might be the only man that can stop them.
You KNOW it is bad when that penile Max Headroom Keith Olbermann is citing, on the eve of the election, that the polls have them in a statistical dead heat, when actually, the overwhelming number of polls shows Coakley is getting her ASS handed to her on a platter. Amazingly, this erectile child with a vocabulary and a television show then goes on to “support” his view that the polls are in a dead heat by showing one of the ONLY one’s that says it IS a dead heat… the poll from the DailyKOS. Holy shit. This guy is expecting anyone to take him serious? Even MORE amazing, the talking head left loser that is FROM the Daily KOS says to Slobbermann that in fact, the KOS polls is ONE OF THE MOST OPTIMISTIC out there for Coakley! Holy holy freakin blow my whale spout hole crap! Olbermann hears this FROM a KOS-ite, and does what? Just glosses past, of course. We don’t want facts, even from the horses mouth you chose to cite, getting in the way.
Ok- enough time wasted on the Richard Cranium. We’ll talk more about him later, maybe, when we talk second amendment…
Back to what is important.
I would say, pray. Pray for Brown.
And, let’s hope we are celebrating on Jan. 19th. We’ll need the prayers, in the face of all the bused in bums and homeless voters paid with cigarettes. We’ll need the help, in light of the people brought in by democrats from old folks homes by the trainload, being told their medicare will be cut off by those “eeeeeeevil republicans”. Surely ACORN is working full speed ahead to register voters at the last minute (Democrats only, mind you), under every overpass and bridge, or transient illegal immigrant facility. We will need the prayers to overcome the boxes of “hey- I just found these ballots in the back room!” type of votes that will pop up in the recount, like they do in King County (Seattle) Washington, Minnesota, and Florida— of course, all in favor of Democrats. Sometimes they even find votes in the trunks of precinct officers. Votes they just “forgot”.
If it is close, don’t expect this to be over soon, and don’t expect there to be less votes “found” than “necessary” in order for Coakley to win. At the very least, if it is really close, it will buy those liberal ass liars enough time to try to rush through some form of their Health crap while the lawsuits are running their course.
Hopefully, Brown will win with a large enough margin…
Yes. Pray. It’s sometimes the only way to beat evil. Excepting, maybe, firearms.
