Who’s to Blame? GOP or Libs? Repubs or Dems?

Who's to Blame? GOP or Libs? Repubs or Dems?

Who Takes the Blame for the Current Economic Meltdown???

In a word, “YOU”. In another word, “Americans”.

No matter your race creed or religion; no matter your party affiliation; no matter your favorite football team or reality show… YOU are responsible for this. WE are responsible for this.

I don’t want to scare anyone, but we are on the verge of an economic meltdown the likes of which we have not seen since the .

I am not going to delineate the similarities of how we got here, as they are in some ways, moot at this point. What I want to point out is what YOU (we) are not doing right, America. What YOU (we) are not doing right, voter…

Two things come to mind for me when I see how we arrived at this juncture. It is far more complex than the picture I am going to paint. In fact, it gets to a point where I don’t even understand it, and I just shrug. But I think we can make a case for two very important factors killing our economy over the last few years.

1. Slaves to foreign energy.

When you are paying nearly $5 a gallon for Diesel on a country that moves on diesel, and when you are paying $4.50+ for other fuels, you will kill an economy like ours.

Lets be frank. We are slaves to . If we do NOT find energy solutions that take us out of the control of and Venzuela, and shield ourselves from the burgeoning economical effects of India and China becoming major manufacturing powers (meaning, they will demand more on the world market), then we will fall. Period.

Ok. Great. Currently we are heading into a period where $1.98 gas and $3.00 diesel is a reality. Too little, too late. We are already on shaky ground, folks.

Energy inependence is the number ONE concern for this country going forward. Foreign powers have more ability now to undermine our economy, and therefore world influence, than they ever have before. ’s GOAL is to take us down economically.

What is MISSING from the argument is . will be a pussy driven by “greeny” lobbyists on the left. McCain wanted . You will not hear even USE the word .

We are in HUGE trouble (can’t you tell by the excessive use of the all caps by me?)

So, America(ns), the reason I blame YOU is that YOU are not demanding that we become energy independent, especially when we have the ability to do so. Clean , , offshore, etc…

Write your congressman.

2. We Live on Credit

The US has done this for far too long. We need conservative measures economically. We need to live with our means. We, as Americans, think we can not only buy all of our lives on credit, but also our Government can bail out industries on credit. We can loan and loan and loan… Someday, you have to pay.

The current housing crunch is a deep, varied topic when it comes to blame. But one thing lies at the bottom of the problem: We thought we could get everyone ‘in’ the “American Dream” on credit… even people who didn’t deserve it.

How did this happen? Well, a lot of it has to do with Liberal philosophies not being held in check. BUT, really, it is derivative of a social mindset that we all can buy now pay later.

Pull away from your crap TV shows, America. You are about to crash. You are about to crumble, because you borrowed your future both personally and on a Government level, and believe that you can green-energy your way out of being in the clutches of energy.

Open your damn eyes, people. We have to learn to live within our means, both on the Governmental and personal level. And take responsibility and control of your energy needs. And we cannot save this country from dependence on Wind Turbines and freakin’ solar panels…

Time to get damn serious, folks, and PAY THE PIPER.

Otherwise, you/we are doomed. And at that point, “party” and “partisanship” won’t mean Jack…

So very true. Funny enough it was “the old guy” that had much better vision for the future wanting to make America independent of middle east oil.

Obama… a pity. He reminds me of every African Leader to date. Promise for the now, plan for the now… tomorrow will be someone else’s problem.

the situation get worst..hope there will be a way to solve this..

I have to think, too, that part of the issue is actually the environmental controls put on businesses that have had to up their costs because of meeting stringent demands. Costs go up, layoffs happen; costs go up, jobs get shipped overseas. The liberal illuminati aren’t even trying to exercise consistency; they bemoan unemployment rates and economic difficulties, but have been contributing to them for years.
