The Pathetic Among Us
(This is a first in a series… if you have someone like this in your life, tell us the story. We’ll be happy to write it up!)
Let’s talk about what is happening in this country. Perhaps in the process you will think of friends or relatives in your life that are similar.
This country is turning into an “entitlement” country. Leftist liberal pieces of guano are expanding their power by passing laws in congress which effectively create large, new voting blocks by creating people who are dependent on programs. Government TIT programs.
In a nutshell, what the left just did to you and the rest of us, conservative and moderate alike, with this health care reform bill – is expand their power base by creating another entitlement program for a huge number of people based on a perceived “right” to some kind of aid.
Do you have people that would like something like that in your family, or circle of friends? I do. Let me tell you briefly about one of them.
My future brother in law is a proverbial idiot liberal. The kind that runs from facts and would impose the “fairness doctrine” as quickly as you can say “Nazi controlled media”. Regarding his beliefs on what the government is responsible for, this intellectual slinky said the following:

“News flash… The government’s job is to tell us how to live our lives. We elect them, they make laws, WE FOLLOW THOSE LAWS.. Anyways, I’ve made it clear in the past, I will delete comments I disagree with. It’s my page, don’t post her if you don’t like me deleting the comments. 
Unbelievable, no? But this intellectual pussy also took his wife’s last name, so go figure. No wonder he wants the government up his butt. (As for his comment about posts being deleted that he disagrees with, this is not surprising. A typical pussy liberal approach taken once real logic derails his ability to control the image of sensibility the left tries to portray.)
First- we clearly need to change our education system, so this kind of idiocy never gets out of the school system with a diploma.
Secondly, can you believe that shit? This is an actual adult. No, not 20 years old. More like early thirties.
F-ing scary. This is a perfect example of the idiocy that has led us to the socialist emtitlment bullshit that clouds the minds of, well, the mindless. Their version of the “American Dream” is getting $6000 a year in the equivalent of food stamps, but buying a new van with their “disposable” income. Brilliant.
We need to eliminate this kind of person from our society. At least this kind of mentality. Let me explain why.
These people get $500-$600 a month in food support from the government. Free food. They get, just about every year, a large amount of their taxes back. So what do they do with it?
They buy new laptops (no- not one they needed. A second laptop. And no, not for business use. For just personal use.) They buy new huge flat scren TV’s. The latest Playstation, Wii, new cars, iPod touches for the kids. He apparently has a racing habit that he likes to spend money on- electronics for fuel injection, other crap I don’t care enough about to remember the details… but all of this at the same time they are cashing their food support in.
OK. Spend your money as you wish… but one could argue, it is not really “your” money, considering you get such a huge taxpayer funded TIT to suck on every month, all year long. The government, in other words, the taxpayers, are feeding your freakin’ kids- which would be fine if you were on the ropes! But instead, it is a form of luxury supporting income for you. There is a word for creatures which live like that: “parasite”.
I would hope that anyone who can afford those things would consider it a priority and responsibility to do two things with that money:
- Pay for your own damn kids food first, instead of making the rest of the country do it.
- Maybe do something to improve your life, so you can make more money, and pay for your OWN damn kids food, instead of making the rest of the country do it. Maybe some schooling, classes, so you can get a better job?
Get it?
These people are a small window into the same kind of freeloaders who used to sit on the welfare rolls for years, pumping out kids because the kids meant cash- back before a Republican held congress reformed welfare.
How does one sit there and receive/spend $6000 or more of government tit money a year in order to FEED one’s kids, and then when you get a sizable tax return that is largely due to the deductions GIVEN to you for the kids, and not think to one self “hey- maybe this is wrong, that we live off money of others when in fact we could pay for it ourselves…”
This is kind of government tit bastard you have to compete with at the polls. Yes, these people get to vote.
Let me just add this one more time…
If you CAN’T feed your OWN f-ing kids without constant government help, you really should not be buying the kinds of items that people regularly meet their commitments cannot easily afford.
Here’s and idea… Maybe we should limit voting to those people who actually pay out more in taxes than they take in in freeloader benefits. Maybe this would be an impetus for these kinds of parasites to get off their liberal “government and rich people owe me” asses and maybe try to make something better happen in their lives.
Another idea? Government aid was never meant to be a steady, reliable paycheck for tit suckers. Once you reach a certain level of government aid, you should start accruing a bill that you have to PAY BACK!!! Imagine that… having to be responsible for your own lawn chair laziness.
This kind of BS is partly what is driving the sensible, capable people of this country crazy. We need to reform these tit suckers right out of the equation, making it less profitable to be pathetic.
CAUGHT IN THE CROWD
We’ve seen the protests, riots, demonstrations and marches on TV throughout the world. Economic hard times force governments to adopt austerity measures to save money and no one, especially people who live in welfare states and are used to living off government, wants to have their pay check cut.
Recently the London student marches against rising tuition costs were in our faces and what happens in London does not stay in London. What happens in London seems to jump the pond and end up in our own back yards. We were forewarned about the problems a demanding religion like Islam can bring us by a book called “Londonistan” and we have been forewarned about economic unrest as our own country tries to tackle the problem.
CROWDS
We often say a mob formed, or a riot broke out, or the crowd was crushing. No one person was to blame but the crowd took on a life of its own, without conscience or thought, and people were hurt or died. A crowd is a dangerous place to be. Think twice before you join one.
People in crowds often take actions they would never conceive of on their own. They sometimes adopt a “mob mentality.” Think of “crowd hysteria” or “herd behavior” or “when demonstrations turn violent” and you begin to understand that a crowd can take on a life of its own. Your intent was never to get violent or destructive but there it is and you’re in the middle.
Crowds are no place for children or the infirm. If hysteria or violence breaks out the young and the old are the first to be lost or trampled and killed.
Crowds can be a cover for people who prey off others like pick-pockets, sexual perverts and common criminals looking to steal what someone else has. I was once in a crushing crowd that rushed forward, pinning me in front of a man who used the opportunity to rub and thrust his pelvis against me.
POLITICAL CROWDS
Political crowds can be the worst because they often have a grudge to settle, which they use as an excuse for violence, and you never know who you’re literally rubbing elbows with. Some are opportunists out to do a smash and grab of a storefront but others can be politically motivated to cause violence and challenge all authority. These people are looking to create chaos.
IN SHORT
If you know you’re going to be in a crowd take precautions. Always know who’s next to you. Come with like-minded friends. Be ready to leave if the crowd turns bad. Have an escape route. Use common sense and don’t place yourself in a bad position or at the mercy of others.
If you attend a political march make sure it’s organized by people you trust. Have rules and people to enforce them. Know who you’re with. Marches should have a beginning and ending time and a clear route. If troublemakers show up then you get out. I believe most of the aforementioned are dictated by local municipalities and rules that govern. Permits are obtained ahead of time.
If your march hasn’t been planned, organized and approved then you are in a mob. Get out!
IDIOTS ON PARADE
1) MSNBC’s Beyond Borderlines. I watched about two minutes and wanted to scream. First this idiot young Latina woman says, “We self-selected ourselves” to come here. What she meant was “WE CAME HERE ILLEGALLY” but those are words illegals and friends have trouble saying.
Then another idiot, or was it the same idiot, said ” Change is scary but we’re here to stay.” (Translation) “There’s something wrong with you gringos, not with us, but we’re here to stay so get used to it. You’re afraid of change.”
That did it. I had only watched for a couple of minutes and my intelligence had been insulted twice with a threat for a kicker, “we’re here to stay.”
MSNBC, do you have any idea how ridiculous this show was. I don’t know if the rest of it continued in the same vein but insulting Americans is not the way to win friends for Mexicans.
I AM AGAINST ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION AND ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WHO INSULT MY INTELLIGENCE. GET OFF MY TV!
2) Charlie Rangel, what can you say? Everyone knows, even first year law students, that you don’t come to a court appearance or a hearing without your attorney. Representative Rangel had a month to retain new counsel and could have asked for an “extension of time” if he knew he wouldn’t have counsel. Just how special does this man think he is?
Charlie Rangel is a Congressional mistake who owes the hearing master an apology for wasting the people’s time. He’s gotten by on charm and deviousness but the time to end his reign may have come. I hope so. Shame on the people in his district for re-electing him.
Ethics? What’s ethics to a man like Charlie Rangel?
3) Geraldo Rivera. Fox News may like you but I don’t. I don’t ever since you said “Americans don’t like brown people.” You said this during one the last amnesty attacks but why would you say something you know isn’t true?
A real old-fashioned apology would do but I haven’t heard one so I guess you stand by what you said.
CONSERVATIVES:
The next time a liberal tells you that conservatives don’t care about people, explain to him that conservatives are simply huge fans of harsh reality. We know full well the dire consequences of stupidity and are just trying to educate liberals. Harsh reality is mean, we are only the messenger. Liberals, on the other hand, are the ones who wear flip flops on a hiking trail and conservatives are the ones who carry the stupid out. How can they say we don’t care about people? Now get the hell off my wagon. Vote on Nov 2 to give us the capability to override Obama’s veto.
WE ARE BECOMING THE HUDDLED MASSES
From a poem by Emma Lazarus engraved on a plaque inside the Statue of Liberty it reads, in part “… Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free …”
Formerly considered a “rich country,” WE ARE NOW BROKE and are becoming the “huddled masses” that famous sonnet invited in. Our politicians have put us in a position where we can’t take care of ourselves and certainly can’t afford to invite others in who need to be cared for.
Do the Democrats and Progressive politicians understand this? No. They understand ideas, especially Obama who knows political concepts but not how to make them work. He understands failed forms of government and thinks he can tweak them to make everything fair for everyone. To make everything fair he must implement programs that take from some and give to others. That’s called redistribution of money. That’s called Obamacare. That’s called leveling us out.
And who should claim the money gained from taxation of those who still have a job? Should it be given to the “huddled masses” so we can invite in more huddled masses. Just how many huddled masses does Obama want to squeeze in? Isn’t inviting more huddled masses in, at a time when many Americans are already suffering, insane?
Obama has learned well how to be generous WITH OUR MONEY. How could it be otherwise for a man who sees himself as transcending all the banal norms of lesser men and lesser presidents. Obama must be munificent with OUR MONEY, especially giving to those who will vote for him.
Again, I call for an austerity program beginning at the top of the government food chain.
THEN THERE’S MY SISTER
She came home from school one day and announced the moon was made of blue cheese because her friend, Paul, had told her so. She was about in 3rd grade by then.
My mother tried to tell my sister the truth but she would have none of it. Her friend had told her the moon was made of blue cheese so it had to be true. She adored her friend.
My sister grew up to be a blue cheese Democrat, allowing everyone to think for her. Once, just once, I heard her speak intelligently about an important subject and I was amazed. I thought my sister had actually grown up. When I questioned her I learned her ex had explained it to her and the words weren’t really hers.
It’s sad but some people are born that way.
