The Future of America

What’s in YOUR Crystal Ball?

Bush-Gore, 2000. Gregoire-Rossi, 2004. Bush-Kerry (Ohio), 2004. Franken-Coleman, 2008. Blagojevich, Burris, on and on and on…

It would appear the future of American politics is headed more for the courtroom than the ballot box. And what appears to be at the root of all of it is the Democrat strategy of “pick and choose, until we don’t lose”.

Here’s a conversation I overheard recently from two prominent liberals…

******************************

Liberal 1: “So, things are looking good. When do we redraw the map, re-precinct the whole damn country to our advantage? After all, we own the whole damn thing. Congress. White House. Microsoft. Heck, nothing can stop us.”

Liberal 2: “Well, first we have to shut up Rush, Hannity, Hewitt, Coulter, and the like.”

Liberal 1: “What about freedom of speech?”

Liberal 2: “That’s just for us.”

Liberal 1: “So- ‘fairness’ doctrine is on the table?”

Liberal 2: “Oh yeah. As Dick Cheney would say, “Big time…”"

Liberal 1: “I love the way our party comes up with clever ways to fool the average dumbass in this country. “Pro Choice”. “Progressive”. “Fairness Doctrine”. We’re so damn clever..”

Liberal 2: “Yeah. Average dimwit voting for us just sees the surface. They don’t dig. We could feed them soilent green and they wouldn’t even know it.”

Liberal 1: (laughs) “Soilent green. That’s funny! Hey, you know that ass Heston died this year, right?”

Liberal 2: “Yeah. Looks like Moses finally dropped dead. Guess the NRA will have to find a new monkey.”

Liberal 1: “Monkey… (more laughter) “Now you’re making me think of Planet of the Apes.”

Liberal 2: “Something tells me a world of monkeys would be mostly liberal…”

Liberal 1: (chuckles) “Yeah. Probably so… probably so…”

Liberal 2: “So- what’s the plan for moving ahead? How do we grow our monopoly?”

Liberal 1: “Well, we’ve got the Fairness Doctrine to shut them up and stop the other side of the story from getting out and explained to the numbskulls who vote for us; some redistricting coming up. I suppose we could expand our “Votes for Cigarettes” campaign?”

Liberal 2: “We’ll need more buses…”

Liberal 1: “Hey. Whatever it takes. Take ‘em cross county or State lines if we have to. Gotta keep the elections close enough for plan ‘B’.”

Liberal 2: “Plan ‘b’???”

Liberal 1: “Dead people.”

Liberal 2: “Dead people? Don’t you have to be registered?”

Liberal 1: “That’s why we have ACORN.”

Liberal 2: “I thought they just registered homeless people?”

Liberal 1: “Nah. Dead people too. And other people who are willing to register 72 times for money.”

Liberal 2: “Don’t people catch on to that?”

Liberal 1: “Sometimes. Some do, some don’t… what are they gonna do? Besides, we have to count every vote.”

Liberal 2: “Sometimes twice.”

Liberal 1: (chuckles) “NOW you’re catching on!”

Liberal 2: “Sooooo… the plan is, shut up the conservatives with legislation, stifle their message, and get as many votes into the system as possible. What else?”

Liberal 1: “Felons.”

Liberal 2: “What about ‘em.”

Liberal 1: “More legislation. Get ‘em to vote.”

Liberal 2: “Cool. That would help.”

Liberal 1: “That, and millions of illegals. Flood the system with people who need the Government tit.”

Liberal 2: “While we pump up the Government programs that they feed on… then they are beholden to us.”

Liberal 1: “Riiiiiiiiight… I knew you’d eventually get it. That, and get forced open Union voting, and buy what we need with Soros’s money.”

Liberal 2: “That sounds like an unstoppable plan. We ought to be able to rule for, well, ever, if we can get all of that done.”

Liberal 1: “That’s the plan…”

Liberal 2: “And then we just have to keep elections close with multiple voters, cigarette fed homeless and old folks bused to the polls.”

Liberal 1: “Correct. And when it gets too close, we call in the A team.”

Liberal 2: “A team?”

Liberal 1: “Lawyers. Chits from judges. People from Chicago. You know.”

Liberal 2: “And they do what?”

Liberal 1: “Find more votes. Boxes in cars. Back rooms. Precinct offices.”

Liberal 2: “And if that is not enough?”

Liberal 1: “Disqualify votes.”

Liberal 2: “Like who?”

Liberal 1: “Start with Military. If that is not enough, canvass the streets and get affidavits from voters whose ballots are in question or not being counted.”

Liberal 2: “All voters?”

Liberal 1: “Of course not. Just those who are willing to say they voted Democrat.”

Liberal 2: “I thought “every vote must count?”"

Liberal 1: (sighs) “No. You misunderstood. Every vote must be counted, ONCE. Then, we go and count ours. It’s not “Every vote must be counted.” It is “Every vote of ours must count.”

Liberal 2: “Sometimes twice???”

Liberal 1: “I see I have you back on track…”

Liberal 2: “And if we still can’t win?”

Liberal 1: “Register your dog.”

Liberal 2: “I have two dogs.”

Liberal 1: “You’re catching on…”

wow-you have a great memory to have caught that conversation like that! or you’re just brimming with sh1t. I may be a “lib,” but at least I know the democrats suck. You’re lost, boy.

  2. Me says:

This article really shows the level of factual reporting that we conservatives are known for. Thank you for reporting the truth, without any exaggerations or falsehoods.

  3. RUS says:

The problem with this country is people put their trust in a president or congress or a senate . When we put our trust in men we will be disappionted. If this country dont turn back to christ and our christian principals and morals witch this country was built on dont expect it to get better .

  4. Con, I read this before, but re-reading it again tonight made me realize home many purse toting liberal sissies show up to comment on your site.
    I’m proud of ya son!

And the R.I.N.O.s smell even worse.

  5. Con1 says:

    Oh… my…. gosh…

That response… and I have to try sooo damn hard to stop laughing… that response embodies the sheer stupidity of the left…

    Thank you… thank you… thank you…

  6. mattw says:

Clearly this is fabricated. There can be no question. It’s impossible to even remember a conversation that long in that level of detail. I can’t remember 50 lines of any conversation I’ve ever had.

Assuming there is some basis in truth– which there isn’t– it would seem almost physically impossible without a tape.

  7. Con1 says:

I didn’t care much to change your opinion. You claimed that it was all fabricated. I showed that there are a lot of examples as to why people should be concerned.

And your ability to impose immediately that the person who said “B Hussein win was certainly discouraging” is simply racist? That says more about your prejudices than theirs..

  8. @dmooney99 says:

Ok as you requested I’ve read the comment section as well and agree with others that what you’ve got here is not substantial to make the assumptions you’ve made in your “satire” which is clearly meant to inflame conservatives.

    1. Hillary Rodham Clinton….urging that Election Day be made a federal holiday to encourage voting.

Nothing wrong with that. Canada requires employers to give people 3 hours to vote during work time.

    2. She also pushed for legislation that would allow all ex-felons to vote
Nothing wrong with that AFTER they have served their sentence

    3. A man….told The Post yesterday he was given cash and cigarettes by aggressive ACORN activists in exchange for registering an astonishing 72 times.
This is ONE person and easily hearsay not work using in your blog.

    4. Jane Balogh signed up the dog in protest of a 2005 state voter-registration law she thinks makes it too easy for noncitizens to vote. She used a paw print to mark ballots on Duncan’s behalf.
So what? The dog will never be allowed to vote, we all know that just like Mickey Mouse cant vote

    5. the Gore team managed to get 1527 of 3733 overseas absentee ballots thrown into the trash.
Both sides do this equally, look at Coleman Franken.

    6. The issuance of driver’s licenses to all Californians regardless of immigration status has opened up the door to voter registration fraud and weakened the sanctity of the franchise.
That is simply not true. I tried to vote in 2003 and was unable to register because I could not show proof of citizenship.

    7. I consider it about 60%-70% truth. The other 30% is just in fun.
I think your 60% is way off target.

    8. While a B Hussein win was certainly discouraging
This is one reason conservatives get a bad rap. This is simply racist.

Con I read it as I said I would and don’t find much to change my opinion that the satire was based on hearsay and preconceived ideas.

    Dennis

  9. Beth says:

I have it on reliable sources that all dogs are Republicans anyway!

  10. Con1 says:

Love Jindal. At least, on the surface.

  11. Anne-Marie says:

While a B Hussein win was certainly discouraging, I think we’re gonna have a lot of fun and entertainment watching the left implode on itself over the next 4 yrs. The in-fighting is already starting. And the lack of respect for B Hussein by other Demoncrats is beginning to surface.

What we need to do in the mean time, when we’re laughing our butts off at these imbeciles, is to find a solid, worthy candidate for 2012.

  12. Chris says:

Hilarious post, but sadly it’s not far from the truth.

Only an angry liberal would see bitterness in it. Why are liberals so angry, even when they win an election?

Sen. Clinton pushes voting holiday, allowing ex-cons to vote
WASHINGTON (AP) — Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, a possible White House candidate in 2008, joined 2004 nominee John Kerry and other Democrats Thursday in urging that Election Day be made a federal holiday to encourage voting.
She also pushed for legislation that would allow all ex-felons to vote.

Instpundit and Law Professor Glenn Reyolds has some advice for the Democrats. Some of his suggestions are well-taken. The Democrats need a message other than Bush-bashing, and a platform. Glenn suggests, among other things, lowering the drinking age to 18 to catch the younger voters.

We have another suggestion. Once they’ve paid their debt to society, allow those with felony convictions to vote. Consider this from an op-ed today in the Los Angeles Times by Christopher Uggen, an associate professor of sociology at the University of Minnesota, and Jeff Manza, an associate professor of sociology and political science at Northwestern University:

When the dust had partially settled, the Gore team managed to get 1527 of 3733 overseas absentee ballots thrown into the trash. However, in the handful of Democrat-controlled counties, which Gore had targeted for his plans to overturn the national election, the percentage was astronomical. In Democrat-run Broward – where the Gore team began its subversive effort by making a federal case out of “butterfly ballots” that allegedly disenfranchised minority voters, the same Gore crew was able to get 304 overseas ballots rejected out of a total of 396 cast. (To make a percentage comparison: the 19,000 votes thrown out in Palm Beach County out of 450,000 cast, comprised less than 5% of the total, as opposed to the roughly 75% of the military votes that the Gore’s minions were able to throw out.)

    Yu can find this:
The canvassing board for King County approved the counting of 566 out of 732 mistakenly rejected ballots in the hand recount of Washington’s incredibly tight governor’s race.

The additional ballots went 311 for Democrat Christine Gregoire, 191 for Republican Dino Rossi, 26 for Libertarian Ruth Bennett, two write-ins, 35 over votes and one under vote.

Another 148 ballots were rejected by the canvassing board because the county did not have the required voter signatures, or the signatures they had did not match those on the ballots.

After losing the first two tallies to Rossi, Gregoire seized a 10-vote lead out of 2.9 million ballots cast statewide when King County reported its unofficial results Wednesday.

Earlier that day, the state Supreme Court ruled that King County, the state’s most populous and a Democratic stronghold, could count 700-plus belatedly discovered ballots.

Now, thanks to the political pandering of Gray Davis, millions of illegal aliens will soon have the opportunity to take part in the electoral process. The issuance of driver’s licenses to all Californians regardless of immigration status has opened up the door to voter registration fraud and weakened the sanctity of the franchise. As California election officials have admitted, an alien who applies for a license need only lie about their immigration status and they are able to register. Thanks to the Motor Voter law, this affront is possible in 13 other states with similar statutes. As a recent Washington Times article points out, a “stealth amnesty” is underway by the states that accept Matricula ID’s, non-regulated ID’s issued by the government of Mexico, and grant driver’s licenses to illegals. A Center for Immigration Studies (CIS) report reveals that “The Matricula card is accepted as a valid form of identification by police departments, banks and 12 states for driver’s license applications.” This disregard for immigration law has no positive impact for Americans except those who seek to grant Democrats additional power. Moreover, this aberration of constitutional law is tantamount to mailing absentee ballots for any future election to Iran, Syria, France, Germany, North Korea, or anywhere else.

This was meant to be tongue in cheek commentary. I consider it about 60%-70% truth. The other 30% is just in fun.
Still, that 60% is awfully disturbing.

  14. As a Liberal who hangs with Liberals (and conservatives) I know the above dialogue was created by a right-wing nut attempting to demonize and mischaracterize liberals. Period!

  15. Ralph Reagan says:

Ok notice to all liberals and so called “Republicans” who think we lost becausw we weren’t liberal enough. The answer is “no” we lost because W wasn’t conservative enough.

Liberals always do the above mentioned conversation and always want to limit the military vote and lie, cheat, and steal elections. It’s what they do.

They are nothing but hamas sympathizers and neo-communists.

  16. Ari says:

This is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I wouldn’t say that I am a dyed-in-the-wool liberal, but I am socially liberal. I concur with many conservative points, especially with regards to fiscal policy. In any case, I am in very close contact with TONS of liberals, and I can tell you without a shadow of a doubt that this conversation is an absolute 100% fiction.

I hope this is meant to be a joke, because judging by the comments, it looks like some people are actually taking you at your word.

Thank you Ben (who posted before me) for taking a well-considered and SANE approach to politely asking your fellow mouth-foamers to tone down the lying. That is, after all, what got Republicans kicked out of office by voters nationwide in 2006 and 2008.

  17. Con1 says:

Good stuff Ben. If you look at some things I have said in the past, you would know I have and do present “ideas”. I will have more.

This is not bitter. This is quasi “reporting”. It is what is ‘happening’.

More ideas coming. Not that the party needs or relies on me to do this. But, I get your drift.

I don’t just complain on here. End of the year “lists” and “parodies” are for fun. It is that kind of time of year…

    Relax.

    And stay tuned in…

And, thanks for coming and commenting.

  18. Ben says:

    Hey Con,

I voted for Bush twice — but you’ve got to realize that bitterness like this is why we lost the ’08 election. If the right doesn’t have a POSITIVE message of it’s own, the left will win every time.

It doesn’t matter anymore “who started it”. I can’t stand Pelosi and her gang either, but someone has to be the bigger people here.

Can’t you please put your talents (and prolific imagination) into some good ideas that will move our country forward? We need to move out of the muck that has ruined the Republican party.

    Ben

  19. Shane says:

LOL! It’s amazing what you’ll pick up at a Starbucks!
