Thank Goodness For Drug Lords
Just about a week or two ago it was made clear in a report that the ICE raids in this country work. They sent illegals packing, and create new openings for American legal workers, or those with legal status to work in America. This is then followed by an uptick in wages, which is something the left and right would both agree is one of the unfortunate issues surrounding illegal immigration- and that is that illegals drive DOWN wages, along with complicit employers who will take advantage of them.
This report came out about the same time that the left, namely Nancy Pelosi and Janet Napolitano, made clear their intentions concerning placing on “hold” such raids.
Let me tell why this is sick, stupid, and wrong.
First off, IF someone is here illegally, then we could deduce from those two idiots (Pelosi, Napolitano) that we would or should have two sets of laws- one for the person WITH a family here, and one with NO family here. Ergo, if you don’t have a family here, we should find your ass and deport you, but if you do, we don’t. Right?
Wrong. That is not what they mean.
Do you think that would happen, really, or are the limp-wristed lawbreakers on the left just willing to use “family preservation” as cover for “temporary amnesty” until we can provide “permanent amnesty”???
I think two sets of laws for illegals is ridiculous, but NOBODY is pointing this flaw in their logic out. It is just, as I said in previous posts on this blog, feel good “humanist” verbiage in order to wrongly engage the sympathies of many Americans who are kind hearted, but not willing or capable enough to see past the rhetoric to find that Oz, behind the curtain, is not who he says he is.
Second- why in the heck would we place on hold an effective program which finds and expels lawbreaking workers? Why? Does the law mean ANYTHING to these people?
I understand they are talking about civil disobedience to what they feel is an unjust law, and there is the hue and cry that these people are just coming here to try to make a living for their families, or themselves, but… if you won’t enforce the law, then I consider you complicit in the breaking of the law. If in fact you are sworn to UPHOLD the laws, you cannot just be a “softy” and say “let’s wait a bit on this one…”
Lastly, now we are talking about ‘anchor families’, instead of ‘anchor babies’. Anchor babies, for those of you who don’t follow this, are babies that allow the parents of such children to stay in the U.S. even if they came here illegally. Great way to get on the Government tit. Come here illegally, have the baby, and bingo! You are a family and now have a U.S. citizen to anchor you here.
Well, guess what? If you follow Napolitano and Pelosi down the their road of idiocy, now we have to be concerned with anchor families, because we just can’t have that cold of a heart that we would break up a family because they are, um, breaking the immigration LAW’s to get here in the first place???
Holy crap. It just gets deeper and deeper when you use logic like these buffoons use. And, as I have said, this isn’t about logic or law. This is about TWELVE MILLION VOTES waiting in the wings, when the left gets amnesty passed and brings millions of happy illegals into their tit sucking fold.
Janet Napolitano, and anyone who is subverting enforcement of any law regarding the expulsion or prevention of migration into this country should be PROSECUTED IMMEDIATELY. They have effectively said “wait, hold on, let’s see if we have the right to decide what the law should be, through limiting resources which enforce it.”
All of that being said, we do have an unwitting and paradoxical ally. The drug lords of Mexico.
Heads being cut off, kidnappings skyrocketing, the word that explosives are being sought in either hight tech or high volume levels… our U.S. border with Mexico has become a quasi war zone. Governors are asking for Guard troops, and there is talk it that 3500 or so interior immigration officials and officers would be moved down to the south in short order. And that would have, in effect, a significant impact on SHUTTING DOWN the border. Illegals would very likely not wish to try to embark on the journey with such heightened scrutiny.
Why? Why would the left do so much to control the border? Well, hell… obviously because the left can’t find a way around it. When it comes to drug lords and beheadings and such, there is no comfy cozy set of words the American people will accept were the left to try to come up with something like “pro-choice” or “family preservation” or “the American people have spoken (referencing that last election) that the left can find to hide behind. It is a real issue, it is a real threat, and they cannot take the languid approach that they so love regarding an issue that will likely not turn out in their favor as of this moment in political time.
So on our southern border, we may likely see the change we who believe in immigration control have always wanted to see. Not because of illegals coming in by the tens or hundreds of thousands every year, but rather because the left doesn’t have the luxury of another feel good cover phrase that can cover the ugliness of what is happening. The presence of the increased force and intensity of the technology should have a huge impact on at least temporarily quelling the rush to America by illegals over our southern border.
And finally, those of you on the left who love to hate this blog, I will say this:
We are not here in this position as Americans solely because the left is the obstacle. Mainly, yes, but not solely. The right needs to take this opportunity and show America that our borders must be controlled, otherwise we all risk a greater danger than simply adding to the Democrat voting rolls. The right needs to raise this issue, NOW, immediately, to the level it should be raised, introducing legislation that will finally put onto the table, in a manner the American people will agree upon, that will secure our borders best as they can be, once and for all.
No more half measures, no more politics.
How much you want to bet that if this gets more serious, the left makes damn sure that Posse Comitatus is applied to the guard, preventing them from detaining illegals? How much you want to be the left hopes they don’t have to even go there, exposing themselves as “partial protection” pussies?
America, be sure and thank your Mexican drug lords.. . You might soon be getting a closed border due to them, rather than the wishes of the left…
The left see every illegal as a possible vote for them. Regardless of the fact that thousands and thousands are dying near the borders. The left cares more about votes than they do for innocent lives.
And when a state tries to protect itself against the invasion and uphold the law, the Obama administration files a lawsuit? NICE.
Wake UP America and show up at the ballot in November.
More thoughts –
As the mayhem on our border takes center stage on my TV, I am reminded this is another man-made problem not unlike the man-made financial crisis that now ensnares us.
Bad government, bad government policies, a lazy, incompetent Congress willing to ignore the public, a nation cowed into ignoring laws,big business for cheap labor, pro-amnesty groups,and a trade agreement called NAFTA are just some of the players in this fiasco at our Mexican border. Everyone has something to gain except American citizens who keep losing as they are forced to subsidize the lives of illegals, mostly Mexican,living off our economy.
If heads weren’t being lopped off and the Mexican government in disarray, would we even be there now? You don’t expect me to believe that Pelosi, Napolitano or Obama actually intend to address the problem in favor of U.S. citizens, do you?
When Fox, or Calderone, or Juan Hernandex (Mr. Mexico First) or even John McCain address us as “My friends,” I tend to shudder and I hear “my amigos.” My friends has become Mexican-speak for “you stupid gringos, let us in and give us what you have.” The crime, the gangs, the stolen I.D.’s, the drugs, the use of our welfare system, higher state taxes, the marches in our streets are also part of the package that comes with allowing millions of poor and uneducated people into our country. We pay; they stay.
How much longer will these bad policies go on? How many more amnesties will be granted? Will we become a country without borders as NAFTA calls for?
Let’s face it. Our government has failed us. Obama needs more “acorns” for his political machine that keeps campaigning and campaigning and building up little “worker bee indoctrination” programs for a government that promises to take care of our children from birth to the grave.
If this doesn’t frighten you it should!
Obama will never actually enforce the border. He will set up ‘kumbaya’ tents in the desert to hand out bottled water and food to new Democrat voters coming across.
Drug dealers? They aren’t as important as raising a new army of leftist voters.

Sad but true.
If I were a Mexican “migrant,” soon to become an “illegal alien,” soon to become a “naturalized citizen,” I would rush to get to America. Nothing would keep me from free healthcare and from dropping my child here so that I could stay, perhaps in subsidized housing with welfare for my “American child.” Obama said he wants to take care of me “from cradle to grave.”
My amigos would introduce me to the Democratic Party where La Raza, through Janet Murguia, has the President’s ear. I would become another little “acorn” in a huge and ever growing mountain of acorns to idolize Obama, the man who wants me to have everything.
I would not think to have everything means other people have to have less. I would not think of the cost because America is rich. I would not understand, or even want to understand, that for everything I’m given I have to give up some control over my own life.
The idea of Obama “spreading the wealth around” is fine for me. It means someone else is paying. I, as a Mexican migrant,” have always been poor. If American wants me to have the “American Dream” (whatever that is)I’m here to take it.
Good stuff CO. They keep at it because they know they need the hispanic vote.
The violence and the drug wars at the border have been going on for a long time — long enough for them to plant and harvest many crops of marijuana in our state parks, long enough for their gangs to infiltrate our cities, long enough for our youth to become addicted.
I will take this moment to thank Mexican drug lords and to berate American government for allowing the violence to get to this point without protecting American citizens.
The fact that the U.S. seems on the brink of addressing the problem makes me fearful of the motive. Have one too many heads been lopped off? Are 30 heads not enough to bother with but 80 heads constitutes a threat? Is it the kidnappings or the sheer amount of drugs and corruption flowing across our border that compels government to act?
Forgive me for being suspicious of the motives of my super spiffy and transparent government but I am. Napolitano is a political sychophant who blows with the current big political wind. She is worthless so what has motivated her formidable butt to move?
Should I be afraid? The NAFTA agreement calls for open borders for the free flow of people and commerce and the U.S. has obliged down the line to the point of caring for Mexican citizens better than Mexico does. No wonder they want to stay while we pay.
The NAFTA agreement also calls for a perimeter around Canada, the U.S. and Mexico — not between the U.S. and Mexico. Are they getting ready to drop a bombshell? Will they proclaim the solution to the drugs and violence to be a border between Mexico and Central America, i.e. Belize and Guatemala?
One has to wonder why we’re acting now. It’s difficult to believe that the cries of actual American citizens have moved our government to do anything.
