Bob Barr Shows his Arrogance
Well, we may have just what we need to insure that Obama-lama-ding dong and wife get into office. Our own version of Ralph Nader, Bob Barr.
Most of us remember Barr for his intense attacks on Bill Clinton in the Lewinsky trial. While we might have enjoyed his watchdog approach on that class A-1 a-hole, I have to say that even then I had concerns that he was a little too “dogged” in his pursuit… just a liiiiiiiittle too overzealous.
Well, it turns out Barr has a lot in common with other village idiots that don’t understand that in a two party system, indy candidates KILL real candidates. Nader and Perot come to mind. At least Perot was a viable contender though. Nader and Barr are nothing more than nuisances that undermine the ability of a majority of a party to control the destiny of the party.
Said Barr on Geraldo- paraphrasing- “Nobody is talking about anything of substance, and that is what I intend to bring to the table.”
“Um- idiot? The time for you to try to sway people into believing that YOUR ideas of “substance” have any substance capable of sustaining a Presidential bid has already come and gone. We call it a “primary”, you arrogant ass.”
Perhaps Barr will find a sword to fall on… I predict that pressure from the party will send him packing. If it doesn’t, I will be happy to go buy him a sword. Maybe we can find a drunk bus driver or a poorly maintained plane to donate to his “campaign”.

Because your candidate doesn’t appeal to the entirety of the diverse conservative base, you wish Barr to “fall on a sword” to enable your candidate to win? With decisions like Palin and suspending the campaign, Mccain fell on a sword! It wouldn’t matter if he did carry the ENTIRE conservative base, there are moderates like me who couldn’t stomach the thought of Palin and feel driven to vote for Obama! Aren’t you angry that he would choose someone that reduces the chances that the Republican ticket can win to almost zilch? Wouldn’t you feel better about _____________ (insert a name here). ANY name you enter would be better. Tell me she was on your “short list” of qualified candidates. Barr may divide the conservative voter base some, but there are bigger detractions to the campaign. You should probably begin to get comfy with the idea of President Obama.
