What did Barry say???

As he said it, I typed it… then responded…

• “These struggles are why I ran for this office…”

Yet, I constantly insist on talking about how I inherited everything…

• “we cut taxes on blah blah, we cut taxes for blah blah…”

It wasn’t enough, the right kind, and you hamstrung it with the stupidity of selling our future down the road with a stimulus that had virtually NO republican support… Net effect, “loss”…

• “Jobs must be our focus in 2010, and that is why I am calling for a new jobs bill, tonight…”

Oh- yeah- that’s right. Health care, being dead, is no longer distracting you. Jobs shoulda been your number one since day one. No jobs, no income taxes. No jobs, no workers spending, ergo no sales taxes… Dipstick.

• “We can put Americans to work today building the infrastructure of tomorrow…”

You mean, more government supported jobs? Shucks… I thought you were starting to get it…

• “It is time to slash the tax breaks to companies who ship our jobs overseas…”

Wait- I thought the jobs went overseas because the Chinese will work for six cents an hour… So, what you mean is, TAX companies punitively that ship jobs overseas in order to remain competitive, essentially making them UN-competitive. Sounds like a Union favor to me.

• “How long should America put its future on hold?”

Just a couple more elections, until you and your liberal minions are voted out of office.

• “I am not interested in punishing banks…”

Is there is a difference between “punishing” and limiting their growth, or dictating their business plans?

• “We cannot let them win this fight (about banks)…”

Wow- another “us vs them” argument… like the class and race warfare the left usually engages in…

• “Treatment that kills cancer cells, but leaves healthy ones in tact…”

Can we do that in the house, senate, and White House? Yes, we can… This November…

• “Safe, clean, nuclear power plants in this country…”

Holy crap… I just fell off my chair… Did half of the left just have a frikkin’ heart attack??? Let’s see how far that kind of talk goes with his “base”.

• “This year I am eager to advance with a bipartisan effort in the Senate…”

Which I am now forced to do because Al Franken was just negated… By a real man, with real integrity- Scott Brown.

• “We will double our exports over the next two years, which will create 2 million jobs…”

Wow. Double your efforts? What IS two times zero?

• “We still need health insurance reform…”

Well. Nobody really disagrees. It is just YOUR health reform we don’t want.

• “This is a complex issue. The longer it was debated, the more skeptical people became…”

You mean, the longer it was debated, the more INFORMED people became. So, you are admitting you tried to rush it, and admitting, since it was complex, it shouldn’t have been- but you did it anyway because you felt it was better to prevent people from being skeptical than it was important to make sure they alllll understood and debated it – yes, even on C-Span, as you promised.

• “If anyone from either party has a better way to blah blah blah, let me know…”

Oh. Now you care to listen… now that Scott Brown basically took your ability to shove it down the throat of America.

• “Let me start the discussion about government spending by setting the record straight…”

Annnnd, he went on to basically blame Bush for destroying the economy with his wars…

• “All this was before I walked in the door…”

Once again… you ran for this office. You have set the policies. And remember, you JUST said in this speech “These struggles are why I ran for this office…” So shut the HELL up about inheriting and start frikkin leading, dipstick. You whine more than a little kid.

Barry then tells about a spending freeze on discretionary spending… but wait, he just increased discretionary spending 20-40% last year. So, that is like saying “I am going to raise your taxes by 40%. Then reduce it by 5%, so I can tell you I am “cutting taxes”…” But it is worse… his “freeze” sounds like discipline, but actually it is an attempt to guarantee that he can HOLD his current spending at the levels they are at… wow- he is slick.

• “That’s how budgeting works…”

<laughter> Man… poor fool… he is being mocked.

• “We face more than a deficit of dollars right now. We face a deficit of trust…”

Yes… and you played a huge part in it…

• “End the outside influence of lobbysists…”

You mean like, um, the SEIU, other Unions, insurance companies, and others you have met with behind closed doors? Who cares about your White House “list” of who visits… I want to know what you TALKED about, dipstick.

• “That’s what I came to Washington to do…”

And you have failed… no… worse… you have encouraged and supported the opposite.

• “Tonight I am calling on congress to publish online all earmarks, before there’s a vote, so Americans can see how their money is being spent…”

You mean, like the hundreds of earmarks in the stimulus bill, which you ignored and signed anyway? Lead by example, dipstick.

• “What frustrates Americans is that everyday in Washington is election day…”

NO-body campaigns more than you, sir.

Barry then went on to complain about the tone of Washington, and the partisan nature of Washington. Which, one could argue, he has done nothing but support since he came into office.

• “Just saying “no” to everything may be good short term politics, but it doesn’t serve the American people…”

Nor is just saying “yes” to everything you want, without ANY bipartisan support.

• “Let’s leave behind the fear and division, and do what it takes to defend our nation…”

Start by not making promises on GITMO before knowing what the hell you are going to do with them. Don’t try terror enemy combatants as normal criminals.

• “We will have all our combat troops out of Iraq by the end of this August…”

Right after I close GITMO by January 2010.

• “At April’s nuclear security summit- we will secure all nuclear material around the world in 4 years…”

Even though we can’t stop Iran from building them…

• (speaking of Iran’s nuclear ambition) “they too will find themselves more isolated…”

Right after Barry makes good on his promise to meet with Ahmadinjad… and bows to him.

• “We find unity in our incredible diversity…”

Yes. Unity. Behind closed doors in congress. Which exclude those we don’t agree with.

• “This year, I will work with congress and our military that finally repeal the law which prevents (gays from serving in the military)…

Barry. They are not prevented. They are welcomed. They just have to not talk about it.

• “Each time politicans tear each other down – they (our citizens) lose faith…”

Wow. You mean like you have done?

• “I campaigned on change… I’m not sure many Americans believe I can still deliver that”

Correct. You are getting it. This is why you are losing support from the center. Not because you cannot deliver on change, but more because of how you are doing it behind closed doors, violating principles that you are even claiming we should not have in government, tonight, in this address.

• “We can do what’s necessary to keep our poll numbers high… (instead of doing what’s best for this country)”

You mean, like moving to the center on a lot of things, like you are doing now, since Scott Brown and Massachusetts is fresh on your mind?

• “What keeps me going is that despite all of these setbacks, that fundamental decency that lives in the core of the American people, that lives on…”

Yes. Even lives on in the “tea baggers”, whom your minions mock.

• “The spirit that has changed this nation lives on in you…”

Yes, you are correct… it lives on as we vote your asses out of office, even when it previously looked like we had already lost against health care…
