Well, what day is it?

Different day, different “priority” from the vacillator in chief.

Today’s priority? I guess it depends on how the headlines change.

Healthcare.

Afghanistan.

Worldwide War on Terror. Wait, I don’t call it that…

GITMO

Economy

Unemployment

Healthcare

Economy

Wait, Afghanistan again.

Stimulus

Transparency… wait… hold off on that…

Olympics for Chicago

whoops,  took my eye off the ball… back to spending ALLLLLLLLLlllllllll my energy on Healthcare..

I mean, alternative energy…

Or- wait- the economy…

Jobs or stimulus?

Wait – someone attacked a plane… back to terror..

I mean, not terror, but the “overseas contingency operations”

Personally, I understand that a President has a lot of balls to juggle. Trouble is, this man is breaking promises on all of his “priorities”, left and right, and seems to be reacting half the time- and the other half of the time, he is making poor pro-active decisions. It is not so much that I expect this man, or any one man, to be able to read a crystal ball, but this pompous ass campaigned on rhetoric laced with condescending omnipotence and omniscience. He spewed forth platitudes with an authoritarian zeal that rivaled some of the great dictators of our time, insinuating that he had the answers… ALL the answers. Hope. Change you can believe in. Yes we can.

And he interlaced that platform with promises, about each and every ONE of the issues that mark our headlines daily, which I have listed above. And now, months into his term, we see he is nothing more than a mere man. A wizard behind a curtain, who, when not breaking promises actively, is frantically pulling levers trying to simply keep up with the demands of the job.

Far too many Americans bought his snake oil, and honestly thought he was cut from a different cloth. We see now he is like every other example of someone who is born of the machine politic. No, worse. He was groomed for it. Born for it. A poster child for a movement. Rushing through bills which satisfy huge agenda items of the left, and dragging his feet on troop decisions in Afghanistan. And even as he rushes those bills through, he lies through his teeth about how it was going to happen. Transparent. C-Span. Days to review the bills.

Now, a terrorist who sought to blow up a plane with a bomb in his underwear has ignited a new interest and distraction for our liar in chief. In alllll the time Bush sat in office, we had no attacks, or even close attempts. Ironic that the terrorist could not get his underwear to ignite, while our president’s pants are on fire daily.

But don’t be fooled, America. He won’t have his eyes on the real important issues for long. No, he’ll be back at trying to force through a healthcare bill, ANY healthcare bill, as fast as possible, EVEN if that means rushing it through by breaking normal protocols and promises- even though the majority of Americans are against the current forms of the bill from the House and Senate.

I hate to say it, but I wonder what would have happened if that terrorist would have been successful? Do you think healthcare would be sidetracked by outrage that our President has not kept up with security needs? Is not the defense of American citizens and our homeland his number one priority? Apparently not… he’d rather ram through bills that support his social agenda.

Mark my words, America. This will go down as one of the worst. Jimmy Carter will be proud, and happy to come off the bottom of the pile.
