OOPS. WHAT CNN FORGOT TO TELL YOU

CNN says it's the most trusted name in news but they forgot to tell you the most important news of the day. They forgot to tell you that Mexico, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Paraguay and Peru are asking for permission to put their two-cents in on AZ's SB1070 immigration law.

This is the exact reason I consider CNN to be THE LEAST trusted name in news. Today CNN told me about a toy gun, corruption in Costa Rica and toxic sludge but they didn't tell me the SOVEREIGNTY OF OUR COUNTRY WAS AT RISK. Did they just forget -- I don't think so. Only FOX was reporting on this precedent setting gambit.

Our sovereignty is our ability to decide what's best for America without having to consult anyone else. Americans decide what we want to do, not foreign countries.

All these Latin American countries say they have standing to file Amicus briefs because SB1070 would be harmful to INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS AND TRADE. They can offer opinion or law even though their testimony has not been solicited. If permission for them to join the suit is granted it will set precedent that forever undermines our sovereignty. It will open the door for international law to trump national law, which is exactly what they and Americans who want a North American Union have been working for. It is what the Mexicans invading our country believe they should have: a piece of the United States and all the perks and entitlements that will flow to them including our newly passed Obamacare. The rich gringos can keep paying for illegal aliens, many of whom have never seen a doctor in their lives.

Unfortunately our sweet-talking ex-president with the southern drawl, globally global Bill Clinton, signed NAFTA into existence knowing that just such a "trade agreement" turned Europe into the European Union.

Therefore, and let me make this clear, I don't trust Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton or CNN into eternity. Right now Obama is giving us a lesson on what progressives do and Bill and Hillary will be just as bad if not worse.

As long as CNN continues to flood me with their propaganda and denies me real news then I will not watch. As long as CNN continues to cover stories that advance their global agenda and "forgets" to cover what rocks my domestic/national realm then I will not watch.

As long as CNN works hard to make itself irrelevant and untrustworthy I will not watch. How about some good old American truth for a change. We're not all Homer Simpson and too stupid to understand. Stop playing political games with the American people you blankty-blank faux-news channel calling yourself the most trusted name in news. You're becoming a joke.

ERIC HOLDER STABS LADY JUSTICE

Did she see it coming? Of course not; she was blindfolded and carrying a sword and scales. Don't worry because it's alright. Holder is black, Obama is black and justice is only for people of color BECAUSE THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE SAYS SO.

The Department of Justice WILL NOT PURSUE CASES WHERE "THE VICTIM IS WHITE." CNN AND MSNBC WILL NOT REPORT ON THIS CASE BECAUSE IT REEKS OF RACIAL BIAS AND POLITICS. To them Lindsay Lohan and Stephen Colbert were the stories of the day.

I'm white and I'm not just angry, I'm off the charts angry. Tell me, Mr. President, do I have any place in the America you are changing or should I just continue to sit on my hands and shut up and pay because that seems to be the mandate you've handed to white people in this country?

Eric Holder needs to immediately RESIGN IF HE CAN'T APPLY THE LAW EQUALLY AND I WANT A DAMN APOLOGY FOR BEING RACIALLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST. Where's the ACLU when you need them?

JUST THE FACTS PLEASE

1) From the book \Londonistan,\ 40% of British Muslims want Sharia law.

2) Omar Ahmad, founder of CAIR, Council on American-Islamic Relations, said, \Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant.\

3) AMJA, Assembly of Muslim Jurists of America, was founded to provide guidance for Muslims living in North America. They recently issued a ruling or \fatwa\ sanctioning hatred of non-Muslims.

4) From the Center for Security Policy, \the majority of American mosques are operated by adherents to the doctrine of Sharia law.\

And, \based on a preliminary evaluation of 102 mosques ... there are grounds for serious concern about jihadist activities in more than 70% of these religious institutions.\

Just recently FOX presented a program where a Saudi school was teaching jihad, here in America, from its books plus other anti-western forms of hate.

Our American government has dumped this problem on the American people without warning. Why? I can't even imagine the answer to that. What I can imagine is the fact that our government does nothing well and will not provide the necessary supervision to make sure the Muslim presence in America is safe and not dangerous.

The American people are not dumping possibly dangerous Muslims among us but we will suffer the consequences. We need some answers from our government.

I will say it again, wherever Muslims go trouble will soon follow and if you give them an inch they'll take a mile. These two points have been demonstrated again and again wherever Muslims go. I am not talking about the percentage of truly \moderate Muslims,\ whatever that percentage is.

DOES THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT KNOW WHAT A MODERATE MUSLIM IS? I think not.

EXTREME POLITICS

Oh boy, CNN is at it already, trying to hang the label of "extremist" on Tea Parties. What else can they do if they have a hate-on for the Tea Party and it's not working?

This morning, very early, they had a talking head on CNN who compared Tea Parties with "extremists with commando-like tactics." Now CNN could have had a dozen talking heads on their early program with a dozen different ideas on the Tea Party, but they chose one who wants to place labels on the Tea Party. CNN could have had a talking head on to debate the matter, but they didn't.

CNN's tactics are straight out of the book "Rules for Radicals" where you isolate and hang a label on your enemy. If you have an opportunity to keep repeating the label, like CNN does, then you have a chance to sway public opinion.

Lisa Murkowski, who lost her primary for senator to Tea Party favorite Joe Miller, is also using the "extremist" label this morning to brand her opponent. I don't know when "the memo" went out but it looks like "extremist" will be the new label used against the Tea Party.

I guess it's all in the eye of the beholder. If you want someone with values and integrity, which most politicians have forgotten, then he must be branded as extreme. Again, it's all in the eye of the beholder. I look at someone as corrupt as Charlie Rangel, who just got re-elected, and I call that extreme.

I look at the President holding our southern border hostage to amnesty and I call that extreme. I look at the President lying about S.B. 1070 and suing Arizona, and I call that extreme. I look at the President forcing us on government health care and I call that extreme. I look at my government spending money it doesn't have and I call that extreme and insane.

If it's extreme to strive to rise above the low moral bar set for political types then I guess you might call Tea Party people extremists but I would call them heroes.

If it's extreme to ask the government to control its spending now, not tomorrow, then I guess you could call the Tea Party people extremists, but I would call them economically astute.

If it's extreme to ask the government to reclaim federal lands given over to the drug trade of Mexico and South America, then I guess you could call Tea Party people extreme, but I would call them American patriots.

So you go ahead CNN and launch a new round of name-calling vitriol against the American people and the Tea Party, because that's what you do best, but the result will be that the Tea Party grows even stronger.

The American people had no voice with George Bush and Obama made it clear he only wants to hear from unions, the Hispanic bloc, special interests and czars trying to "nudge" the people in the right direction, his appointed direction, and let the taxpayers keep paying and be damned.

CNN SHOUTS: I CAN SEE; I CAN SEE

Today a CNN anchor says he thinks the Tea Party "is real." Well Golleeeeee gee CNN, do ya think? You might want to consider further. It's only been a little over a year when you started by ignoring the Tea Party as if it didn't exist. Then you jumped to the fun and games of ridicule, but I'm slighting you. Let's tell it all.

First you ignored the Tea Party while FOX reported. Nancy Pelosi called the Tea Party Astroturf. The President called them "tea baggers." And you CNN anchors just loved the term "tea baggers" with all the sexual connotation to giggle over.

And then, CNN, you gave us Susan Roesgen. She was assigned to cover a tax day Tea Party rally and ended up being so belligerent and confrontational that a video of her strange behavior went viral. She accused the protesters of being anti-government and anti-CNN and said they weren't fit for family viewing.

Your manly, grown-up anchors spent an entire day giggling over the term "tea baggers" and amused one another like third graders who had discovered a new dirty word. In short, CNN, your people were disgusting and YOU WEREN'T FIT FOR FAMILY VIEWING.

Oh, but that wasn't enough. The denigration and ridicule continued. Whenever you interviewed anyone who had been to a Tea Party the first thing you asked them about was racism. You accused them of being racists and bigots and spent an entire year looking for the racists.

Then, just recently, the NAACP, accused the Tea Party of racism after their Shirley Sherrod debacle where Sherrod was fired. CNN was on top of the story, trying to create controversy where there was none.

In short, CNN, we get it. YOU DON'T LIKE THE TEA PARTY BUT NOW YOU WILL ACCEPT THEY'RE REAL. That's really big of you, CNN, and in keeping with your biased, liberal, left-wing agenda whose drum beat of name-calling and ridicule never stops.

DUH. WHAT'S THE TEA PARTY?

MSNBC completes the picture of true ignorance with Chris Matthews who said, just before the Beck rally in Washington, (paraphrasing) I don't understand. Who's Glenn Beck and what is the Tea Party?

Now I don't blame Chris Matthews for not understanding. He's been swimming in the nasty cesspool of partisan politics for so long he doesn't realize his clothes are dirty. This man is really confused. Shouldn't the world of politics stay static just for him, he wonders.

And the people like Susan Roesgen, who couldn't understand how anyone could reject free money, set the stage for the growth and success of the Tea Party and also set the tone for CNN's contempt of the Tea Party.

Here's a toast to the Susan Roesgens of the world who always think within the confines of the box and can't imagine how anyone could think differently.

CNN's EUROPEAN WORLD-VIEW STINKS

Craziness is all around me. Old Harry Reid is about to tack the Dream Act to a defense bill so we can pay for the education of more illegal aliens, mostly Mexican, in order to keep Obama's standing with his Hispanic voters up to par.

Obama continues to hold our borders open until Americans yell "I give up" and a huge amnesty goes through. Meanwhile death and destruction are the call of the day just over our Mexican border where drug cartels continue to flood us with poison, people, contraband and Mexican mayors and the police are executed.

Arizona still suffers from bans placed by "I love illegal aliens from Mexico" entities who care not a twit that American citizens don't have work or that soldiers returning from war will need jobs.

There is a Mexican entitlement mentality that goes with everything in my government today and Hilda Solis, Labor Secretary, is there to make sure that Mexicans and illegal aliens get their share of America, citizens be damned!

CNN WORLD VIEW

All this is happening yet it is Kyra Phillips, CNN anchor, who ruined my morning by SLANTING a story about U.S. immigrants taking classes to soften their accents in order to get jobs or better jobs.

Kyra's first questions were about these immigrants being discriminated against and about their cultures being slighted or changed. Kyra's questions were insane. All they wanted to do was speak better English and be understood so they could work and the man being interviewed explained that. IT WAS COMMON SENSE THAT KYRA PHILLIPS LACKED.

Kyra Phillips was the woman who tried to label Americans Islamophobes last week and thought Imam Rauf was being demonized because Americans had questions.

Here it was, in my face again, CNN's world view where all minorities were oppressed, their sensibilities offended by mean old America and therefore they needed special attention and help. It's the same kind of thinking that put the fox in charge of the hen house in England and it's the same kind of thinking that wants to destroy Western civilization and its foundational values.

Unless the left-wing intelligentsia in this country gets a grip we're traveling down the same path England did and it's not pretty. Unless the ultra-liberal elite get a clue and start supporting COMMON SENSE and AMERICAN VALUES instead of ridiculing them, America will be swallowed up and spit out.

Do I want to slap Kyra Phillips silly? I have my moments because her kind of constant spin borders on indoctrination, but then I remember she needs a job, or does she?

CNN, on second thought I think you should replace Kyra Phillips with one of those "poor, poor immigrants" with a heavy, labored accent so thick you can barely understand. Of course that suggestion defies common sense and you would lose viewers but you would be holding true to your propaganda that says every culture is equal, every language or accent is equal, EVERYONE IS EQUAL.

Now let's all have a group hug and speak to one another in our native tongues. So what if no one understands.

CNN’s EUROPEAN WORLD-VIEW STINKS

Craziness is all around me. Old Harry Reid is about to tack the Dream Act to a defense bill so we can pay for the education of more illegal aliens, mostly Mexican, in order to keep Obama’s standing with his Hispanic voters up to par.

Obama continues to hold our borders open until Americans yell “I give up” and a huge amnesty goes through. Meanwhile death and destruction are the call of the day just over our Mexican border where drug cartels continue to flood us with poison, people, contraband and Mexican mayors and the police are executed.

Arizona still suffers from bans placed by “I love illegal aliens from Mexico” entities who care not a twit that American citizens don’t have work or that soldiers returning from war will need jobs.

Kyra’s first questions were about these immigrants being discriminated against and about their cultures being slighted or changed. Kyra’s questions were insane.

Here it was, in my face again, CNN’s world view where all minorities were oppressed, their sensibilities offended by mean old America and therefore they needed special attention and help.
I IDENTIFY THREE (3) KINDS OF MUSLIMS

First there are the ones I appreciate in this country, moderate Muslims who just want to live their lives and worship as they please. You don't hear about them in the news. They appreciate their freedoms here in America and become part of the whole.

Secondly there are the terrorists and those who are easily manipulated to become terrorists. Islamic teachings give them permission to kill and they are driven by whatever "insult" they deem to be worthy of a death penalty.

Finally the third category, and perhaps the most dangerous in America, are those Muslims who have a Muslim agenda of aggression spurred by religious superiority toward all other religions. Their work is also driven by the Quran and the prophet's words, but they have taken a stealthy approach to their goal, the Islamization of America.

I see Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf in this third category. Here is a man who has called America "Sharia compliant," who continues to ignore the people calling for understanding with regard to America's feelings about his proposed mosque, and a man who is not afraid to use the leverage of terrorist attack to push his agenda.

Imam Rauf is in the news because he is no moderate Muslim. He is a Muslim with an agenda and tied much too intimately to the larger aggressive, international body of Islam which accepts no other religions. You can know Imam Rauf by his works that cause pain to others. You can know Imam Rauf by his words like "peace" while he creates chaos and unrest.

Imam Rauf knows no shame while he is conducting Islam's business of world dominance. He prays five times a day while dreaming of virgins and rivers of honey. If he wants me to see him as pious and godly, I don't.

U.S. government will latch onto any Muslim who is not killing and call him worthy and just, especially if U.S. government fails to look for the truth. In Rauf's case our U.S. government has employed him to represent us abroad. I will say it again: DOES THE U.S. GOVERNMENT HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT IT'S DOING WITH REGARD TO ISLAM IN THIS COUNTRY? HAVE THEY LOOKED AT WHAT HAPPENED IN ENGLAND? DO THEY REALLY THINK ISLAM IS LIKE ANY OTHER RELIGION IN THIS COUNTRY?

NINE YEARS AFTER 9-11

My TV has been recounting the events of 9-11 since yesterday, all the events now summarized consecutively with pictures. I have only to look back and remember how that day began for me and what I felt. Today it's made more real for me by what's happening in NY with the controversial mosque and the three men who seem to be playing us like puppets: money man Hisham El Zanaty, developer and real estate agent, Sharif El Gamal, and finally Feisal Abdul Rauf, head of the Cordoba Initiative, Muslim cleric and the face of Islam as well as part of a special State Department cultural program sharing what it's like to be a practicing Muslim in the United States.

CNN shows us opposing rallies for and against the mosque that will take place today. Yesterday it was about Pastor Jones and Quran burning as well as a meeting that Jones said would happen with Imam Rauf which was later discounted. Two new players have joined the fray, Muhammad Musri, President of the Islamic Center of Central Florida and overseer of 6 mosques, as well as Donald Trump, business mogul, who is offering to buy the mosque for the sake of peace. Even the Secretary of the Defense Department, Robert Gates, became involved when he called Pastor Jones to ask him not to burn Qurans. The President has also weighed in with a few thoughtful remarks on TV.

WHAT DO WE MAKE OF THIS?

I'm not sure. Donald Trump offered El Zanaty a 25% profit and costs for the mosque which was purchased for 4.8 million a year ago. It seems that El Zanaty's people think it's now worth 18-20 million which would be a bonanza for the Cordoba Initiative.

Could it really be just about money? Sure it could and that's why I don't want to see the troublesome trio make a dime. I would rather have the monstrosity built and rejected, sitting as a symbol of man's inhumanity to man, a building to be spat upon after millions are pumped into it.

IMAM FEISAL ABDUL RAUF, PEACEMAKER?

Rauf has done nothing but create ill will, pain and a curious repulsion despite his claim to "build bridges, stop radical discourse and create peace." The Trump offer is Rauf's easy way out if he really wants to bring peace but his motives are unclear.

As much of a politician as a cleric, as much a scheming visionary as a peacemaker, Rauf wears one hat for America and one hat for his international Muslim brothers. Has Rauf been peddling America as a Sharia compliant country to bring more Muslims here? You realize Sharia law makes women second class citizens and contains jihad acceptance, don't you?

Exactly what vision does Rauf the visionary have? That's the question.

ISLAM IS WATCHING

I woke up this morning with a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach. I had watched the Soledad O'Brien interview with Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf which I had been happily anticipating, thinking that compromise might be in the air. Now I realized, with a jolt, that my life had somehow changed forever and I needed time to put all the little pieces of information together. "Islam was watching." What did that mean?

AN AMERICAN TWICE REMOVED

The interview was professional, informative and cordial. The Iman presented himself as a man who loved America, had a vision, and wanted to forge bonds. He told us he had served the community for 25 years and was part of the community. He said the need for prayer space had expanded and he wanted to push back against radical discourse.

Soledad was charming and tenacious. She had two questions she had to keep repeating: 1) Why not just build somewhere else and 2) Why can't you undo it or move it?

Rauf's answers were long and a little cryptic, making me aware this was no simple problem. He said it was an issue of national and personal security. He spoke of "losing face" (in the Muslim world) and said he hadn't found an option that would work in a safe way. I realized Imam Rauf was a "twice removed American." He was separated once by his religion because he would always be a "Muslim first" no matter where he lived, and separated again by his responsibility to the international community of Islam to which he owed allegiance.

The Imam told us Islam was watching and the issue could build into a frenzy of hate as bad as the Danish cartoons had been. He said the headlines in the Islamic world would read: Islam under attack. He said the crisis had to handled correctly or it could explode into anger.

With lines rigid, emotions raw, we were in a crisis I hadn't seen coming, all over a mosque that should never have been proposed. The Imam told us everything about the mosque-building was in the newspapers last December and there had been no protest. Yet another Muslim cleric on TV today said he wouldn't have proposed such a mosque and would have known better.

Should Imam Rauf have known better? For a man of peace, peace, peace, which he kept stressing, Imam Rauf was causing a lot of pain, pain, pain which could blow up into killing, killing, killing. How long had he lived here and why didn't he understand his neighbors? If 71% of Americans opposed the mosque they couldn't all be Islamophobes.

THE MUSLIM MOSQUE BECOMES A QUESTION OF NATIONAL SECURITY?

In panel discussion, after the interview was aired, people weighed in. Fareed Zakaria, CNN contributor, thought the Iman was a very moderate fellow. Andy Sullivan, construction worker against the mosque, thought the Imam was sending veiled threats and this was a turf war. Rosaleen Tallon, sister of a 9/11 victim, felt there might be retribution if the mosque didn't go up and she tearfully didn't want it to go up. She also said relatives were not contacted about the mosque, even though Imam Rauf said they were.

With Imam Rauf's loyalties to his religion and the Muslim International Community first, where does that leave us regular old Americans? Are we under threat? Are we poised to submit to Muslim leverage, the kind that says back down or suffer the consequences? How did we get into this mess in the first place?

ONE PERSON'S OPINION

I still don't know if Imam Rauf is a true moderate. Soledad did not ask him about Sharia law, if women would be able to lead prayers and if women would be segregated. Rauf looks and talks like a moderate package but who knows what you'll get if you open the package.

His loyalties to the International Muslim Community bother me. I don't see any tolerance of religion there. I don't see jihad being denounced or removed from their books. I don't like the threat of carnage this mosque portends if it is not built.

For the first time in my life I feel my life has been placed in the hands of a foreign power. It is a very, very bad feeling. It's hard to believe that I may have to voluntarily curtail my first amendment rights to free speech and peaceful assembly so as not to offend those who threaten me from across the world. "Don't say anything offensive, don't oppose them -- is that the order of the day? They have me modifying my life while they continue to kill. I wonder -- how much freedom do I still have and how long will it last?

Does the U.S. government have any idea what it's doing?

CNN CONTINUES TO BULLY AMERICANS

Just when I took a breath of fresh air, away from being called a bigot and a racist by CNN because I don't want illegal aliens from Mexico here and I don't want to give them amnesty, CNN starts the name-calling all over again.

THE NY MOSQUE STORY SLANTED BY CNN

In the old days, when a story was tilted toward one side or the other, it was called "slanted." Today they use the word "spin" and stories are spun in the lopsided view of the writer or the presenter to benefit their particular view. CNN spins by offering name-calling and "poor, poor underdog, immigrant, or minority" pieces designed to appeal to emotion. CNN is slick and quick about it but too much CNN will rot your brain.

The reason I know CNN is spinning is because they use two words that make my skin crawl. The first is "Islamophobic" and the second is "demonize" which was used by anchor Kyra Phillips today with regard to Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and the mosque controversy. Poor Imam Rauf, in CNN's opinion, was being demonized.

Of all the hundreds of words CNN could have chosen to talk about the mosque, why is "Islamophobia" being used? Why is Islamophobic being used to describe Americans who don't want the mosque near ground zero? Islamophobia means a persistent, irrational and excessive fear or hatred of Muslims. Americans, for the most part, are not Islamophobic and they are aware that the word "Islamophobic" was used in Britain to silence the majority and intimidate while Muslims took center stage and hollowed out the British culture. And of course, blowing up people and structures and riots didn't hurt either.

According to Melanie Phillips, author of "Londonistan," "even the term 'Islamic terrorism' is regarded as Islamophobic." I guess that's why our touch-feely government didn't want us to use it anymore. And Ms. Phillips says, "Such deception and intimidation have worked. So profound is the fear of being branded a racist among British liberals, so completely do they subscribe to the multicultural victim culture, that the obvious examples of illogicality, untruths and paranoia in much Muslim discourse have never been challenged. INSTEAD OF ATTACKING ISLAMIC EXTREMISM, BRITISH LIBERALS ATTACKED ISLAMOPHOBIA. INSTEAD OF DEFENDING BRITAIN AGAINST ITS ATTACKERS, THEY TURNED THEIR RHETORICAL GUNS UPON THEIR OWN NATION."

I am not Islamophobic but I am afraid of the liberals in this country, and the liberals at CNN who have a platform to speak from. They are already shouting "Islamophobe" at the American people and Kyra Phillips, CNN anchor, says Rauf is being "demonized." Again, of all the words Ms. Phillips could have used, why "demonized"?

I don't want the mosque built so near ground zero but I am not "demonizing" Imam Rauf. I am aware, cognizant of what happened in England and I don't want it to happen here. I see shades of liberal stupidity everywhere but nowhere is it more pronounced than on CNN.

Again, from Melanie Phillips, "Is some places, the concentration of Muslim immigrant communities has changed the face of British cities. It is, however, considered racist to say so in 'multicultural' Britain, where a majoritarian culture is viewed as illegitimate and the nation as a source of shame..."

I don't ever want to be "ashamed" for being here, for being here first, for being American, for being white. I don't think the culture of this nation should be rewritten to please the people moving in. I don't think "illegal aliens" should have more rights than I have as a citizen. Still -- that's just what's happening with Mexico and illegal aliens today. I am always willing to share but not to be dictated to, or shut out, or told I don't count anymore because I am "too white" to be an American.

With Muslims I feel the same only more careful. Islam is only one religion here and not the most important or the most deserving or the most holy. America is not a theocracy and American government should not support you.

HERE ARE SOME IMMIGRATION FACTS AS QUOTED FROM IMMIGRATION STUDIES

1) Muslim immigrants and progeny now number some 2 million. Add in perhaps today's 1 million converts to Islam, mostly black, and you have a total Muslim population of about 3 million.

2) In 2000, nearly 1 in 5 Mideastern immigrants lived in poverty, compared to about 1 in 10 natives. Twenty-three percent (23%) used at least one major welfare program compared with only 15% of natives.

AND FROM WIKIPEDIA: "As of 2006, the U.S. accepts more legal immigrants as permanent residents than all other countries combined."

Does our immigration policy have to be changed? You bet but not for the reason Obama is holding our Mexican border open for now -- for Mexican amnesty. We have huge immigration problems and Obama makes everything worse for his ideology and his stubborn resolve to have everything his way.

Tonight CNN is presenting a special on Imam Rauf by Soledad O'Brien. She's the one who does "poor, poor everyone" stories and if there's someone to cry for Soledad will find them.

I will watch to see how far she slants the story. I will listen to hear if she calls Americans names and if she asks hard questions, the questions I would ask if Imam Rauf were sitting in my living room. I would also want to know about the money he has given the Holy Land Foundation, which was closed down after it was discovered they funneled money to Hamas, a Sunni Muslim Palestinian terrorist group. I also want to know about being "Sharia compliant" and what Sharia laws be wants and I want to know in detail.

Americans have questions and they should be able to ask them without being called Islamophobic. What is wrong with you CNN?

CNN CONTINUES TO BULLY AMERICANS

Just when I took a breath of fresh air, away from being called a bigot and a racist by CNN because I don’t want illegal aliens from Mexico here and I don’t want to give them amnesty, CNN starts the name-calling all over again.

THE NY MOSQUE STORY SLANTED BY CNN

In the old days, when a story was tilted toward one side or the other, it was called “slanted.” Today they use the word “spin” and stories are spun in the lopsided view of the writer or the presenter to benefit their particular view. CNN spins by offering name-calling and “poor, poor underdog, immigrant, or minority” pieces designed to appeal to emotion. CNN is slick and quick about it but too much CNN will rot your brain.

The reason I know CNN is spinning is because they use two words that make my skin crawl. The first is “Islamophobic” and the second is “demonize” which was used by anchor Kyra Phillips today with regard to Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf and the mosque controversy. Poor Imam Rauf, in CNN’s opinion, was being demonized.

Of all the hundreds of words CNN could have chosen to talk about the mosque, why is “Islamophobia” being used? Why is Islamophobic being used to describe Americans who don’t want the mosque near ground zero? Islamophobia means a persistent, irrational and excessive fear or hatred of Muslims. Americans, for the most part, are not Islamophobic and they are aware that the word “Islamophobic” was used in Britain to silence the majority and intimidate while Muslims took center stage and hollowed out the British culture. And of course, blowing up people and structures and riots didn’t hurt either.

According to Melanie Phillips, author of “Londonistan,” “even the term ‘Islamic terrorism’ is regarded as Islamophobic.” I guess that’s why our touch-feely government didn’t want us to use it anymore. And Ms. Phillips says, “Such deception and intimidation have worked. INSTEAD OF DEFENDING BRITAIN AGAINST ITS ATTACKERS, THEY TURNED THEIR RHETORICAL GUNS UPON THEIR OWN NATION.”

I am not Islamophobic but I am afraid of the liberals in this country, and the liberals at CNN who have a platform to speak from. They are already shouting “Islamophobe” at the American people and Kyra Phillips, CNN anchor, says Rauf is being “demonized.” Again, of all the words Ms. Phillips could have used, why “demonized”?

I don’t want the mosque built so near ground zero but I am not “demonizing” Imam Rauf. I am aware, cognizant of what happened in England and I don’t want it to happen here. I see shades of liberal stupidity everywhere but nowhere is it more pronounced than on CNN.

Again, from Melanie Phillips, “Is some places, the concentration of Muslim immigrant communities has changed the face of British cities. It is, however, considered racist to say so in ‘multicultural’ Britain, where a majoritarian culture is viewed as illegitimate and the nation as a source of shame…”

I don’t ever want to be “ashamed” for being here, for being here first, for being American, for being white. I don’t think the culture of this nation should be rewritten to please the people moving in. I don’t think “illegal aliens” should have more rights than I have as a citizen. Still — that’s just what’s happening with Mexico and illegal aliens today. I am always willing to share but not to be dictated to, or shut out, or told I don’t count anymore because I am “too white” to be an American.
