Five Reasons McCain Should Lose…
How many things can conspire to make sure McCain is going to lose the election? How did we ever get to a point where a man like Obama could even have a chance? Right now, all evidence points to the fact McCain should lose. Most of the reasons are clear to most of us who are more conservative leaning.
1. The (nearly) Perfect Storm
“It’s the economy, stupid…”
Well, actually, more correctly put, if you’re stupid, you think the economy is the best reason to vote for Barack Obama. It’s actually one of the worst reasons to vote for him, because increasing taxes the way he would like to pay for his programs would put this current economy into a tailspin. Even Obama admits this, and stated that he would have to put his programs and tax proposals ON HOLD, until such a time that the economy recovers.
Ok folks. Pay attention here. Is this not stating, precisely, that HIS tax proposals and programs would HURT the growth of a capitalist economy? If putting his proposals on HOLD is good for a weak teetering economy, and necessary to promote an environment for growth, why does that change when we have a moderately strong economy?
I will tell you why it changes, in their minds- they want to play Robin Hood.
Obama has stated (as well as has Biden) that we all need to do our part, spread the wealth. This is code for “higher taxes” and “wealth redistribution”. This is also called socialism.
Obama also stated that 95% of Americans would see a tax reduction. This includes 40 million Americans who do NOT PAY TAXES. This means they would get a tax credit, or handout. We used to call this welfare. Now creative socialist punks like Obama just call it a “tax cut” and hand them a check. I do not know for the life of me how you “cut” a tax when it is ZERO to begin with.
Is the voting public paying attention and listening to the reality of what is hidden behind the soundbites? Do NOT be fooled, people… Obama is trying to BUY the vote of many of you on promised tax cuts.
Is YOUR vote for sale?
Do you really think his cuts will happen, and stick? How can he possibly pay for his programs with these cuts happening as well. Even some of the left leaning press is having a hard time buying this one.
2. The Racist Block
Let’s just call it what it is- racism. 92% of the black electorate will vote for Obama. If 92% of the white electorate voted for McCain, I would think we would have all kinds of pundits and “black leaders” on the tube telling ushow racist white America is. I dont even think 92% of DEMOCRATS are voting for Obama. The fact that the black vote will be so skewed is flat out obvious.
3. Mr. Nice Guy
“Senator, I knew Mr. Conservative. I worked with Mr. Conservative. Mr. Conservative was a good friend of mine. John McCain, you are no Mr. Conservative.”
John McCain’s strength is also his weakness. He can bring people together because he runs down the middle. He is willing to sacrifice some principles in order to compromise and get something, anything, done. He also refuses, for the most part, to play hardball, and when he does try to play hardball, he reminds me of a little welter weight fighter in the ring with George Foreman- i.e., he looks like he is swinging nearly out of his shoes, while Foreman just holds out his hand and puts it on his forehead, keeping him at bay.
John McCain is clearly having a hard time energizing the right wing of the party. For every vote he grabs in the center, he probably is at risk of losing one on the right. McCain needs to somehow convince people that he is capable of knocking the crap out of Obama based on his poor judgement and personal associations.
Were it not for the fact that MOST of us on the right feel like we have no other choice, this election would have been over long ago.
4. The Media Cabal
Don’t think the media is in the tank for Obama? Flip through the channels and give a listen. Fox is quite balanced, with some clear leaning to the right that is given what appears to be equal time based on party affiliations of guests who appear. CNN clearly leans left, but tries to balance it out (and fails… but they clearly try). MSNBC might as well mean “My Special Network for the Bama Campaign”. As for the Networks- they try, but fail miserably to hide their left leaning idiology.
Honestly, it is like listening to editorials rather than news anchors and reporters on most of these channels. Journalism is dead compared to the days of Cronkite.
5. No News is Good News
What’s that, you say? What happened to Iraq?
Here’s what happened to Iraq. Obama was against the surge. McCain was for it. Obama voted to cut funding from the troops in Iraq.
Well, the surge worked, and is still working. So well, in fact, that the mainstream media has little to nothing to say about it. Talking about a successful Iraq means giving McCain support, and undermining Obama. They will never do such a thing. Let something bad start happening in Iraq, especially as it relates to policy, country stability, or our troops lives, and the mainstream media will be shoving it down your throat by the dump truck full…
Food for thought…
Consider this… seriously. Thnk about this over and over and over again, if you are sitting on the fence here…
Obama. Biden. Reid. Pelosi.
Shit your pants yet???

JUST PLAIN SARAH –
Dems love to denigrate, insult and abuse her but she holds strong. I don’t know if I’d want her to be president but here is why I admire her.
1) She is not a product of the political beltway, a good ol’ boy’s club or a political family.
2) She is attractive, savvy and has common sense, something Clinton, Bush, Obama and McCain are missing.
3) She stepped up to the plate when McCain needed her and although she was at a disadvantage, through lack of experience, she met the big boys on their own turf and didn’t wilt.
4) She has not yet been corrupted by politics and there is always the chance she could remain incorruptable.
5) She appeared to us energetic and of sound principle.
6) She is quick-witted, even tempered and willing to serve.
What Sarah Palin lacked in experience and education was well countered by homespun values, a huge dollop of integrity and the ability to attract like-minded individuals.
Yes, Washington, it will take Sarah years to become as cynical, partisan and bloodthirsty as you are. She doesn’t pretend to be a “little man” like Hillary or a rich, old courtesan like Nancy Pelosi. Here I use the word “courtesan” in its original sense (a woman of the monarch’s court).
Sarah Palin is my heroine. I can’t even imagine the guts it took her, on short notice, to stand up next to McCain and hold her own.
Keep on cutting her down you dimwitted Dems. Like Susan Roesgen of CNN who attacked the Tea Parties, you just don’t get it. You have moved so far away from integrity and truth you are at first baffled and then angered when you meet values you have discarded by the wayside.
Who needs integrity and truth when your leader is a media coddled rock star.
I think your implication is that only whites have run for President.
Apparently you don’t remember Alan Keyes. Also, you are not considering local races where literally hundreds of black candidates have run and been elected, or at least were voted for.
Alan Keyes ran for Illinois Senator in 2004. He received 27.05% of the vote. I doubt they were all black, considering Keyes is a Conservative. Which means he obviously got a lot of white votes.
So no, white people have not always voted 100% “white”.
People voting “white” because that is all that is available at the time of the general election does not make them ‘racist’. A BLOCK of people voting solely or even primarily because of race is, in fact, racist. Whites included.
What percentage of Obama’s voters will be white? Quite a large number. You will NOT see 92% of white America voting for McCain, however.
I think one could in fact make more of an argument that black America is more racist than white America, when you compare what percentage of the race feels one way or the other…
“Let’s just call it what it is- racism. 92% of the black electorate will vote for Obama. If 92% of the white electorate voted for McCain, I would think we would have all kinds of pundits and “black leaders” on the tube telling ushow racist white America is. I dont even think 92% of DEMOCRATS are voting for Obama. The fact that the black vote will be so skewed is flat out obvious.”
Historically, 100% of the black vote, as well as 100% of the white vote, has gone to white candidates. White people have always voted 100% white.
Just thought I’d let you in on that.
