Dueling Champs, or Dueling Fools?

Dueling Champs, or Dueling Fools?

In sports, a blowout is usually pretty boring, unless you have some kind of vendetta agenda. Good rivalries make good sports, as do well fought contests which hold surprises.

One of the most important aspects of any great sporting (or any) contest is a fairly equal match-up. Parity, in sports, often creates an interesting duel, and sometimes a battle which is founded solely on parity creates a great duel.

However, let’s make no mistake here: parity, on its own, does NOT necessarily indicate greatness of either party involved in the battle. But that is what the Democrat pundits would have you believe when they talk about their two bumbling candidates.

It seems that everywhere I turn, I keep hearing people on the left (mostly liberals) stating the mantra, over and over, that the reason that Obama and Clinton run so close together and are having such a tight race is because they are both such excellent candidates, running excellent campaigns.

This is mentally a riot for anyone with half or more of a brain.

First off, both of them are relatively inexperienced as elected politicians. A first term Senator, and a Wife of an Ex-Impeached President.

Secondly, the fact that these two are running neck and neck right now has a lot more to do with idiocy of the left, and mistakes by the candidates, than it does with “greatness” as evidenced by the parity.

And at the core of this problem is one issue: Character.

The amazing aspect of this analysis is that the left truly thinks that their “tight race” is an example of “excellence”. But, I think we all understand that two mediocre competitors can create a fairly good “game” just by being “equally matched”… i.e., parity. I would argue that the only “excellence” being exercised in the campaigns of Clinton and Obama is that they are excellent impostors.

Without character, we do not win wars. Without character, we do not set visions. Without character, we cannot lead. Without character, we cannot even find the truth. And when people who run for President have a hard time finding the truth, especially when it comes to sniper fire or 20 years of exposure to a man who used to be recognized as an very close adivsor, then we have a problem that needs some addressing, now.

Addressing this problem is the duty and responsibility of the left, the DNC, the Democrat party. But, as evidenced by their inability to reconcile their OWN party on Florida and Michigan delegates, delegates who were/are stripped due to their OWN party chair, this party cannot convince anyone that they deserve to run anything.

If you cannot run your own house, one which you are in control of, how the hell do you expect to run the only Free Nation that acts in an independent manner, in the face of the evils that face us today?

Democrats are insisting that their “contest” shows excellence. I contest that their “contest” is an example of the mediocre beating the average. It just depends on what day you take a poll as to what kind of result you get.

Even more amazing is that neither he press, nor any other pundit is bringing YOU this information:

McCain holds even with both Clinton and Obama, in a year where both Clinton and Obama should be winning handily. What the left leaning media is not telling you is-

Both Clinton and Obama supporters claim to be willing to defect to McCain by a whopping margin of 20-28% per candidate. So that “head to head” percentage that they tout as being “even” is really a damn blowout, right now, before a vote is even cast.

The real problem the left has is, as always, one of honesty. Honesty from their candidates, and honesty in their reporting.

Last I heard, Clinton is ducking sniper fire from Jeremiah Wright while Obama says he never knew Wright owned a gun.

People who have the qualities to be President do not act this way… do not not lie this way… do not stretch the truth this way… do not expect that Americans are stupid as fence posts.

It’s your decision, mister ‘undecided-moderate-person’… Do you want liars, or someone who love this Country enough to die for it tomorrow?
