Dems Comforting Nation With Craziness
Well well well… as predicted, the unraveling of American fabric is well underway, and continues daily.
In reviewing the news of the week, I am really taken aback by the utter crazy rambling and wandering from principle that we are witnessing from the Democrats on Capitol Hill, including one Barry Obama. Principles that made this country great; that are at the core of our success and freedom. The individual respect that free law abiding people should enjoy.
I’m gonna vamp here…
Scrutinizing AIG CEO Liddy, Barney Frank asks for a list of people who accepted bonuses. Even after Liddy reads to Frank two very threatening letters, one including piano wire around their necks, and something about wanting to know the names of their children too, Frank is nonplussed, and pushes on. This from a man who should know what persecution by witch hunt feels like, considering he has been gay most of his life. And wait a minute- didn’t Frank play a very important and powerful role in the legislation that included the language that allowed for those bonuses to be passed out? Yes, yes he did.
Tell ya what, old bend over Barney- we will give you that list if you are willing to go into a biker bar and call them all a bunch of closed minded redneck pussies. Piano wire will be the least of your worries.
From a party that cried to high heaven about telephone companies sharing records with the intelligence gathering agencies of this nation for the purposes of protecting us from potential terrorists, this lisping ass is just fine with subpoenaing the names of people who took bonuses at AIG so he can look powerful and important, outraged; principled even. Don’t privately and quietly look at the names and phone records of potential terrorists, but let’s have a witch hunt for bonus takers right there in the public eye.
And why is he doing this? Well, of course, because it is popular, and, perhaps to draw attention from his meddlings with Fannie and Freddie, and like already stated, his hands have been in high places of the party in power, control, since this all began, last September.
I am mad about the bonus takers as well, but until you understand the logic behind why Liddy let them be handed out, you won’t understand that the outrage really should be focused on the rushing through of important, broad sweeping legislation that spends billions and has little time to be read before it is voted on.
Some Dims are so upset about the AIG bonuses that they are talking about 100%, nay, even 1000% taxation on those who took bonuses. Excuse me? This, my friends, is what you get when you allow children who rule with emotion and tantrums to get total power. Even to suggest such stupidity is enough to make me shudder. How any adult in such a serious position as congress could suggest such a thing is almost beyond my comprehension. But, then again, all I have to do is remind myself that they are, indeed, liberals. Such a move will not pass either Constitutional muster, nor public scrutiny.
Obama is trying to now put a positive face on things. But even while Rome is burning, he is picking NCAA final four teams, making YouTube videos, and going on Leno’s Tonight Show. Important stuff. I mean, we rush through a 1100 page stimulus without reading it because the “crisis” is looming according to Mr. Cheery Leader, but, while we are working through some of the most difficult times, he’s campaigning still. Why? Because Obama is actually the real Max Headroom. He understands you never stop campaigning, and the TV is always on. USE the ferocity and anger of the American people. Stir them up! Have them frothing at the mouth for AIG exec’s who took bonuses, then while their torches are still burning, get them on board for another jump over the cliff piece of legislation… Like nationalized health care.
Clearly Obama, during his time each day, has the time for such important things. I mean, I would generally liken the attention that he should be paying to this economic turmoil to what one has to focus on a war. After all, the importance of what has to be done, and that which is at stake, is nearly as condemning and damaging to this country as war if we fail. So, yes Barry… please do another YouTube video, show me you are “down with all that” and keep campaigning. Get a giggle on Leno, then go back to your dour deep voiced, teleprompter driven orations which convince the sheep that you are indeed serious, well thought out, and have a command of the issues.
In the meantime, the rest of us will start calling for the resignation of Tim Geithner, tax cheat and Secretary of the Treasury. Geithner was involved in both the TARP legislation, and the current stimulus. Geithner had a chance to stop the bonuses too, and he was quite aware of their existence, as he was involved in their creation in his previous post. But, alas, Obama is taking the reigns, and saying he stands by his man. Still, there are a lot of concerns that continue to go unanswered. Even while I listen to Obama say “I take full responsibility,” and “The buck stops with me,”, he quickly and ALWAYS reminds the public things like “Secretary Geithner didn’t sign any of those contracts” or that he (Obama) “inherited” this situation. You see, taking full responsibility for a situation, for a liberal, is conditional on making sure you understand just why they have to take responsibility.
As I have said over and over- you stick your hand that far up the ass of that puppet, you control it. It is yours, Mr. Barry. This economy is now yours.
It’s no wonder though that he stands by Geithner. In one of the most unstable economic times of our nation’s history, Barry hasn’t even filled all of the Treasury positions under Geithner. I wonder why so many people are afraid? I wonder if it has anything to do with not wanting to have anything to do with such a potentially massive failure. I wonder if Wall Street notices that Obama has time for YouTube, Leno, and NCAA tourney pics, but can’t find people to fill what is tantamount to a Command Center for our war on a teetering economy?
Rounding up the summary is Nancy Pelosi. In a speech at St. Anthony’s Church in San Francisco, Pelosi stated that she felt that our current policy of enforcement without consideration for breaking up families is “un-American”. Wait a minute. I thought more “un-American” was not enforcing laws. I thought more “un-American” was not enforcing the borders and immigration laws to protect American jobs. I thought more “un-American” was not enforcing the borders and immigration laws in order to prevent entry by would be terrorists.
Pelosi was at the church at the request of Rep. Luis Gutierrez, (D) IL. Said Gutierrez, “We think that families are the cornerstone of our society and our nation, and an immigration system should preserve those families, not destroy them.”
Alright then; if they want to stay together, give them the option to send them all back- together. Problem solved.
Here’s a tip for those who don’t want your families broken up: “Be here legally, and don’t let those who are illegal be in your house, even if you are legal yourself.”
As you can see, folks, this country is begin run by a bunch of bumbling rabid fools, who have little respect for people’s privacy when it comes to the appearance of being an overpaid exec, but will protect potential terrorists from having their phone records looked at. They are running through legislation that will likely negatively affect this country both economically and socially for decades. They are willing to literally push the limits of contract law and government intervention into private business to the extent that it could set up court cases for years to come, and weaken the economy and business in the short term. They are willing to pander to law breakers (illegals) because, quite simply, those law breakers number in millions, and represent votes.
These people cannot lead. These people care about one thing- obtaining more power- obtaining absolute power.
2010 is around the corner…

I agree with the author but the truth is all of you have your eyes off the ball. I don’t give a damn how Barney postures for sex. Barney looks like Fred Flintstone and talks like Elmer Fudd but it’s not his fault. It’s what nature gave him. What is his fault is what happened at Freddie and Fannie and his amazing ability to remain unscathed.
Until you guys realize that every decision Obama makes today is designed to support Mexico, including his health plan, we will soon lose what little sovereignty we have left.
As a “sovereign” nation we are supposed to decide what’s best for us, the U.S., but Clinton, Bush and now Obama are driving us to make decisions on what’s best for three (3) countries: Canada, Mexico and the U.S.
For the fist time I can remember my cable station showed how the recession in the U.S. was affecting poor farmers in Mexico, and their relatives working in LA to send money home, and just how dependent they are on our economy. That money that goes home to Mexico helps Mexico, not us. The free healthcare they get at our E.R.’s helps them and bankrupts our hospitals.
California spends between 5-10 billion a year on illegals, or so says Schwarzenegger, AND THAT DOESN’T COUNT HEALTHCARE. What if California used that 5-10 billion on California citizens. Would that help to make California solvent? You bet it would.
To sum up, the U.S. is unraveling and CHANGING into a North American Union, although they will probably try to change the name just like AIG did or just like Obama is changing “the war on terror” to something about overseas contingency.
Don’t waste your time on Frank’s sexual preferences. Something much bigger is happening just under your nose and with your eyes wide open. When we agreed, in NAFTA, to “harmonize” rules and regulations for three (3) countries we lost a piece of our sovereignty and what’s left is rapidly being given away by our government, Nancy, Reid, Obama, Gutierrez, Richardson to name just a few.
Keep your eyes on the ball!
Do you really understand what it will mean to us to be a North American Union joined to a poor,largely uneducated, needy, unsophisticated people driven to trade in drugs and crime? Do you really think that education and healthcare Obama stresses is for U.S. citizens only? Think again!
Why is it that when we talk smack, we get beat up, and when the left talks smack, they’re heros. The veil is dropping everyday, and soon, we’ll see Barry and Barney for what they really are, traitors and cowards. With my last liberal bone, I feel sorry for Obama and I think he may be a pawn in a MUCH bigger game.
Seems to have rattled the cage of some folks, some potentially gay.
Let’s be clear about a couple of things.
Frank was not ‘frank’, open, and out of the closet until he was forced by congress, who was in the course of reprimanding him, that he was having sex with a pimp/prostitute Steve Gobie. Stating he is “open” is not a reflection of the record. Frank screwed on the side with a pimp. He was caught. He came out of the closet. There is a big difference between pride and being forced out. He’s no hero by choice. At the time he was only the 7th member of congress to be reprimanded the way he was, in history. The vote was 408-18.
That is number one.
Number two- All I said was “Bend over Barnie”. What is wrong with that? I thought that was how many homosexuals have sex. Like saying”Blue Dress Billy” would be a sexual insult to Clinton. I thought you guys were proud? Isn’t that what gay pride parades are about? Stop whining. Be proud. Otherwise, you are showing your insecurity. Makes some wonder why.
Third- how does stating truth make me a closed minded bigot? I did not attack Frank for being gay. I attacked him for being a short sighted hypocrite for putting people in danger from a lynch mob mentality public, some of whom want to harm AIG bonus takers. Any gay closeted persecuted individual should understand that this kind of torch lit parade in the night is not good.
Frank acted like an ass asking for names without stating he would protect those people. I am not happy that those people got bonuses either. But, putting them in danger in such a political environment is ludicrous, and irresponsible, whether in haste, or out of showboating, or both.
FRANK voted for the bill that allowed this. Frank has no right to act like government is the victim now. Liberal idiocy rushed this crap through congress, and not allowing for time to scrutinize, as Boehner and others asked for, makes this ass more liable than he otherwise would be.
Lastly- I don’t care about people’s sexuality. That is not to say I don’t pass quiet judgement on them- that is to say I don’t discount anyone based on that alone. What people do behind closed doors might bother me, it might not. I am more concerned with whether they act consistently.
Mark Foley got what he deserved. My anger at him is not focused on “gay” issues. It is focused more on “underage” issues.
Larry Craig will and has gotten what he deserved for being disingenuous, and a liar, much like Clinton.
Conservatives don’t tolerate such crap. Liberals do.
I would never hate anyone for being gay. Nor would I discount them or their opinion. I will however point out when your hypocrisy, like Frank’s, rises to the level his did. He asked for the right to endanger people just because he was angry at them. No crime, just hatred.
Gays should recognize that hypocrisy. But why would you call him out on that? He is one of your heroes.
Look closely at the subject matter, and stop thinking you’re important enough to be the topic of my angst towards government actions. And stop thinking I would be saying this request of Frank’s was stupid and over the top just because he is gay or liberal. Using the fact he was and is gay is just a tool for showing that he should understand why witch hunts are BAD.
And, as I have illustrated, I call out GOP folks for being stupid too. Not gay… stupid.
As much as comforting the nation with Craziness, the left is trying to salve the pain of our current recession by blaming Rush Limbaugh and appearing on Jay Leno. By focusing the nation’s attention on irrelevant things, the administration’s Geithner and Co. (actually just Geithner because they can’t find any Democrats to work at Treasury who paid their taxes), are ruining the country’s future. But don’t worry, Obama will be on The View next week.
Congrats, you’ve successfully deepened the pigeonhole between the democrats and the republicans (or as you put it so eloquently and misguidedly, the liberals and the conservatives). I particularly appreciate the low blows towards homosexuals (“bend over barney” really shows your virtues and general human decency). I personally don’t feel that being homosexual and being an exec with a bonus can be regarded together in the category of “witches being hunted.” It’s people like you that perpetuate disunity in a dark hour of our country.
In all honesty, I’m not sure what the main point of this article was. Perhaps it was that democrats in the White House are wrong to inquire into possible misdoings by the AIG VIPs. It seems you strayed rather immediately from this point, though, and focused more on attacking fellow Americans for classifying themselves as democrats.
“Bumbling rabid fools” to describe our executive branch was, firstly, a very professional statement, and secondly, a clear indication to me that journalism is not the career for you. You did well, author, to present your opinion as fact.

Don’t listen to this man, he is a fool. We must not be swayed by one man’s writing, but rather, what we feel in our hearts to be right and true. This is a critical time for all Americans, and in truth, America herself. Unite! No more pithy arguments and blame laying upon the opposite parties, but cooperation! And respect for our fellow countrymen! Obama recognizes this! He strives to achieve it! Understand this, everyone, and the United States will truly prosper.

I agree with you and would love to see most of the idiots you highlighted in your blog hung by their thumbs, but the reason that B-HO, BoyLovinBarney, SpazzyNancy and the rest of their ilk are going to continue to believe that they can get away with this is their duplicitous and–in my opinion–treasonous co-conspirators in the MSM.
