Obama Intends to Enlighten Us
Barack Obama has made it clear that he intends to give a speech on Wednesday, in which he will probably try his damndest to distance himself from Pastor Wright. Expect to hear the word “former” a lot in this speech.
Obama won’t answer questions about the Pastor at this point. Even after his speech, he does not intend to answer questions. I don’t find this transparent; I don’t find this mature or manly; and I don’t find this avoidance of taking questions to be very courageous. Obama knows that answering questions keeps it alive, and he just wants to kill this as soon as possible. But avoiding answering questions will hurt him, this time.
Obama said “I think the caricature that’s being painted of him is not accurate.” I guess Obama is going to try to set the record straight on that, then?
How can Obama make this point though, when he has been apparently fooled for 20 years? I should take advice on the character of Wright from a person (Obama) who by his own admission was VERY close to Wright, but never, ever knew the ugliness of this man?
Once I am done taking advice from Obama on this, next in line is marriage advice from Elizabeth Taylor, and tips on how to win a Presidential nomination from Ron Paul.
Obama at this point is sounding like that person who lived next door to the serial killer for 20 years, and woke up one day with SWAT teams out in his front yard. Said the stunned neighbor, “He was always normal. I had no idea. He was such a nice boy.”
Fine, you were fooled. However, if you want to make that excuse, please don’t offer me advice in the next sentence about how we are misreading the man…
According to Rasmussen, Obama is down 5 points since Thursday. Not just 5 points, but “Five God Damn the USKKKofA points!”
Trinity United’s Rapid Editing
In a side story, Obama’s Church has removed from its website many comments containing specifically the word “Black” that are very racially selective and probably exclusive enough to sound a little like the SS of WWII. One of such statements was:
” Allegiance to the black leadership who espouse and embrace the black value system.”
Imagine changing those examples of the word “black” with “white”. I would look for sheets and burning crosses if I heard that somewhere.
Ouch.
Note this, however. This information has been up for months if not years, and was exposed last year by many. It is JUST NOW coming down.
Trust me, it is not coming down because of a change of heart. It is coming down to save “one of their own.” That is how those kind of people work.
And I don’t mean blacks when I say “those people”. I mean racists.
Don’t Hang Chads, Hang the DNC
(This bit of the article not for those who are not following the Florida delegate issue. I am going to hit current developments, not the history.)
Well, it is official… for now…
Florida will NOT have a “do-over”. This is a problem for the Democrats, as it leaves them, for now, with just two choices. Seat the current delegates from the original primary, or don’t. Either way, they are going to cause trouble that can create a rift in their party that will echo deep enough to cost them the election.
And of course, the attempt to blame the GOP for this is ongoing. Just remember ONE line when you hear such garbage: “WHO took the delegates OUT, the DNC, or the GOP?”
The GOP punished THEIR party by taking HALF of the delegates. This diluted the election power, but still kept voters involved. Democrats on the other hand stripped them all, and now want to appear concerned over “disenfrachising” (if such a word even exists) people.
It is amazing how liberals find morals when they have an issue they need to draw attention to. I did not hear ANYBODY crying about the voters being “disenfranchised” way back before Obama and Hillary got into a 50/50 dogfight for the Democrat nomination.
If you can’t run, and even take responsibility for, your own party, you sure as hell are not qualified or welcome to run MY country…
