Changing Rules in Midstream, Again…

Changing Rules in Midstream, Again...

Anyone who knows the left leaning Democrat Party should not be surprised to hear the following- they are tossing about the idea of changing the rules of a system in midstream, again. And, in order to prove that they are not just mean spirited children in adult bodies, this time they are even willing to do it to just themselves! So, I guess the next time they try this kind of crap in Congress, the Republicans should not take it so personal.

A top adviser to Billary’s campaign, Harold Ickes, now wants to overturn the ruling that is withholding Florida’s and Michigan’s delegates. Delegates that would of course help Billary. And, the real hypocirsy? Ickes was part of a panel that voted the ruling into place in the first place.

This is a top Democrat adviser. This man ranks up there with Dean and Carville. And, as a Democrat, he is meeting our expectations when it comes to ethics, morals, and principles.

Of course most of you are aware that Florida and Michigan had delegates stripped from them due to the posturing that many States participated in when trying to move up their primary dates this campaign year. Florida and Michigan in particular drew the ire of the DNC, and the party voted, with Ickes, to penalize those States for moving to dates that they were not “approved” to move to.

In war, the battle plan is not expected to survive past the first encounter with the enemy. Likewise, in the world of the liberal, the life of any rule is only as viable as that rule’s ability to create a desired outcome.

Keep in mind, Clinton won those delegates, even after all other candidates committed to not campaign in those States due to the fact they violated party rules. Clinton flew into Florida on the eve of their primary, but did not rally. However, of course, the news covered her “arrival”. Clinton also complained that Obama had aired a national ad that aired in Florida. This is kind of a weak argument, especially from someone that was IN Florida on the primary eve.

And now, Ickes, a top advisor for Clinton, is trying to rewrite the rules, as such a change would of course help his candidate, Clinton.

How hypocritical. Should we expect outrage from all of the left? Hell yes, you should, but don’t hold your breath.

This all comes with the foresight that what we see ahead of us is a potential train wreck. Obama has pulled ahead of Clinton- but the race is expected to remain tight for some time, perhaps even to the convention. But even worse than that is the super delegate policy that the Dems have in place for their convention, which tosses into the air the whole illusion of fairness in the first place.

Confusion compounded by power… a great combination.

While moderates are considering their decisions for President, they should well remember that the person and party put into power will be charged with making a lot of very important decisions… some of the most important of our time. Such decisions should not be trusted to those who cannot even follow their own rules, in their own party.

  1. Supreme Court Judge appointments should not be trusted to people who cannot follow rules, or are willing to change them in midstream.
  2. Setting National Policy should not be trusted to people who cannot follow rules, or are willing to change them in midstream.
  3. Setting Foreign Policy should not be trusted to people who cannot follow rules, or are willing to change them in midstream.
  4. Assigning tax burdens to the public should not be trusted to people who cannot follow rules, or are willing to change them in midstream.
  5. The direction of our US Forces should not be trusted to people who cannot follow rules, or are willing to change them in midstream.
  6. The negotiation of the interests of the US at the UN should not be trusted to people who cannot follow rules, or are willing to change them in midstream.

While it is possible that this outcome may not come to pass, it is very important to remember that the Democrat party operates in such a manner willingly and regularly. The very existence of a conversation that the rules should be changed, at this point, is an indicator of something we all have known for a long time.

The left cannot be trusted with hard, principled decision making processes. (See “You Can’t Handle the Truth!!!”)

The White House is challenged sometimes daily with such important and principles decisions.

The choice is yours… until they change the rules of the game on you…
