Nuts and Bolts

General David Petraeus, a true BOLT

General David Petraeus, a true BOLT

For his courage to propose an increase in troops, when the left was crying, literally yelling out for us to “redeploy” (surrender), led by the likes of Cindy Sheehan and Code Pink, and cowards like John Murtha, we proudly list as our current BOLT, General David Petraeus.

Mc"Derrrrrrrrr"-mutt (Nut)

Mc"Derrrrrrrrr"-mutt (Nut)

The whacky Jim McDerrrrmutt has stuck his foot in it again. Sadly, this man comes from my State. Happily, I am not in his district. How the hell he ties his “protest” vote against Christmas to President Bush vetoing this second iteration of the children’s health care bill is beyond me. But stranger things have happened in the little playground in his mind.

For those of you who don’t know McDerrrrmutt better, he is truly one of the most liberal in the House. He is a staunch supporter of Universal Health Care (can you say “socialist”?) He is one of only 67 congressman to vote against the Defense of Marriage Act. “Derrrr” had a role in Michael Moore’s “Farenheit 9/11?, is a member of the House Progressive Caucus, and is a Psychiatrist.

McDermott was convicted (several times, on up through appeals) for leaking a taped conversation, in violation of federal law, between John Boehner and Newt Gingrich in 1997. The House ethics committee concluded in December, 2006, that his actions violated ethics rules. “Derr” appealed up to the SCOTUS, but the appeal was denied, thus affirming the lower court decision.

“Derr” was given $5000 after a trip to Baghdad and a meeting with an Iraqi tied to the oil for food scandal.

In addition, “Derr”, while leading the pledge of allegiance in the House, left out the words “Under God”. This was right after Michael Newdow lost his case in the SCOTUS over that same phrase. “Derr” stated he “forgot”, since he was born in 1936, and was 17 when the phrase was added.

You will find “Derr” plastered on radical left websites such as The Huffington Post and The Daily KOS.

In 2004, “Derr” came out with the amazing prediction that Bush was hiding Osama, waiting for the perfect time to bring him out (obviously to use as a political tool).

In other words, this fool is a class A-1 anti American wing nut. The fact that he can even get elected is a testimony to the fact that even Democracy can be pathetically tortured if enough idiots are allowed to vote.

So it should be no surprise that this intellectual abyss voted against the House Christmas resolution. It should not surprise you that he and only 8 others voted against this measure.

What should be surprising is his apparent lack of perspective, or his inability to speak either truthfully, or recognize the truth.

McDerrrr-mutt stated “While the Republicans are busy passing a resolution celebrating Christmas, the President was busy vetoing health care for children.”

“The Republicans”??? Apparently “Derr” can’t count. The resolution passed 372-9. Of those 9 against, all were Democrats. That means an overwhelming number of Democrats voted for this resolution.

Although he will likely be an easy target again and again, this week, Jim McDerrrr-mutt is my choice for the “Nuts” category.

Constantly Negating N-tegrity

Constantly Negating N-tegrity

Well, first it was Cable News Network, then the Communist News Network, and after that, the Clinton News Network… Now add to that list, “Constantly Negating N-tegrity”.

After the most recent Republican debate, it has come to the fore that many of the questioners are actually Democrat supporters (not to be confused with athletic supporters). But worse than that, one of them is a member of Hillary Clintons gay and lesbian  ”steering committee”, whatever that means.

So, apparently, Clinton’s campaign not only plants questions in her own appearances, but also into CNN’s pool of questioners. And in true political form for Democrats, NOOoooooobody seems to understand not only how this could happen, who was responsible, or even whether or not they should have known.

Phil Singer, a spokesman for the Clinton campaign, said they had no knowledge that Kerr was going to participate in the debate. After the debate, CNN’s Anderson Cooper said that Kerr’s political ties were unknown to the network.

Now, I have to ask, how is it that a debate sponsored by a supposed journalism based entity does not think to ask if any of the questioners have any current ties to ANY candidate?

Imagine to yourselves if in fact any of the questioners were found to have a connection to any one of the Republican candidates campaigns. Now, we conservatives know that kind of connection gives us an immediate uneasy feeling in the ethical stomach. In fact, even planting such people at your campaign stops stinks of manipulation, let alone planting such people at debates.

Although minor, this is just another example of the lengths to which unethical people will go in an effort to subvert the assumed ‘gentleman’s rules’ we normally expect at such functions.

CNN conveniently not having at least one person in their whole organization astute enough to put out there the standard “Make SURE that nobody associated with any campaigns is involved in the question generation” is just more evidence that they are on a long slow boat to ’sub mediocrity’ in the news world, along with NBC and CBS…

…which of course, makes them a perfect addition to the Democrat party toolbox.
